The blurb from hyliion is confusing. If the erx is just a power train why does it cost the same as a Tesla or the mythical Nikola.

I have 990 shares of SHLL it will explode around mid September. As for the ERX system, it is a complete non hybrid power-train upgrade for an existing truck, not a complete truck. This is a great company!!!!

That can be expected after 50%^ in 2 days. It’s a rollercoscter and as I say towards the end of the video, it’s very volatile. But long term, I think it’s green

Yeah I’m realising that now through the comments. I think I didn’t quite read closely enough because it’s not super clear, particularly on their website. Thanks for letting me know. In future videos I’ll clear that one up
The truck is carbon negative only if it uses gas from shit or garbage. Not a lot of that around.

WHOA Dude! 😠 Big error in there. Hyliion turns current trucks into hybrids, not electric vehicles like you said her. The current diesel trucks converted with Hyliion axles will still burn diesel, just way less. Hyliion entered an industry where cost-cutting gets noticed quick. But Hyliion will NOT MAKE A TRUCKS! They design electric-only drivetrains, and Dana makes the axles. The EV truck drivetrain is a year or so out. Your research missed that. You're young though. Quickly, fleet buyers now select trucks from Freightliner, or Harvester or another one, then order motors and axles separately. Fleets may need bespoke truck bodies and that won't change. For now fleet buyers can order a new diesel truck as before have Hyliion add an electric axle, battery, computers. Still requires diesel motor in it. Shortly fleet buyers can order semis from OEMs with a Hyliion drivetrain.

Impossible to say my friend. I’d love to give you a straight answer but I can’t. I think it’s probably already priced in, but you just never knoe

They’re already available and the hyper truck erx powertrain is available in 2021. This is actually in the two images that show the benefits of the powertrain 👌🏼

You got brokers shippers costumers don't wanna pay. i like company, berry cool but few company's i asked said thy wouldn't buy it, just cheeper to get a truck. I think if got big contract that would help. 120k for new truck your really hard press to make payments. miss one good buy truck.
I understand that. I think the appeal is being environmentally friendly as well as the ongoing costs like maintenance and fuel savings. The cost of the truck is expensive, but the years to follow you make that money back while helping the environment. But I see where you are coming from. The initial cost is very high

@@dansplained42 that's not really true $1 is ten times less than $10, $0.1 ten times less than $1, keep puting ceros after the decimals and it will sky rocket a short bet. If you really analyze well the fundamentals of a company you have pretty good information where the price can go in the future but Hyliion is just a huge uncertainty.
For sure it’s a huge uncertainty and shorting is obviously something people do, I’m just pointing out that you’d want to be right. Either way, good luck 👌🏼
