As a newbie that wants to invest, you must have these three things in mind
1. Have a long term mindset.
2. Be willing to take risk.
3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending.
4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advisor.
This is something I've heard of severally, but I just don't know how to find an advisor. If you'll be kind enough, can I ask who your financial advisor is?

Thank you so much for actually mentioning the lay people who are day-to-day/ swing trading. I don't have the capital to afford effective minute/day trading, and most people who make videos about this kinda stuff focus on principles you really only see at that level of trading. This really helps me fee more confident and comfortable in my swing trades and makes me wanna get out there and invest more

@ 33:28 when you start explaining how "buying" and "selling" works in real life on a human level, this helped a lot! this is so basic and yet I haven't come across this type of explanation of what buying and selling actually means yet in over a month of CZcams research into trading and technical analysis! thank you! IDK if you have a more in-depth video about this but this is the type of behind the scenes basics I need to foundationally understand trading. I am also looking for the *duh* basic of how to actually physically enter and exit a trade, like physically what to point and click on the screen (I know this is somewhat depends on the trading platform one is using). When I search CZcams for things like "live trade screenshare," I just get videos of people showing when they entered and exited a trade, not HOW lol. True beginner stuff. Thanks for the class!

I absolutely agree with you, a good financial analyst can make a world of difference, may I ask what specific insights you gain if you don't mind please.
As long as you diversify your portfolio, any single investment that you own shouldn't have too much of an impact on your overall return, if it does, diversifying might might be the right choice for you, as one can also try out other commodities. I now have a balanced portfolio that is yielding profits for me.
It's really not easy investing or trading the financial market. I read a lot of books, tried to study, watch some tutorial videos, did a little demo before funding my account and I still lost a lot. The financial market could be very tricky

I’ve recently gotten to a point where I’m watching or focusing more on the actual price with the candles in my peripheral vision. You can tell where the high and low of the action is, if it breaks one of those then look at the candles. I think you get a better sense of momentum seeing exactly what the price is doing, and you’ll get better entries.
I’m beginning to look at candles as little more than another indicator like a moving average or macd or whatever. I look at it this way, I’m trading the actual price, I want to watch the actual price. I do this trading options, once I enter an option play I assume total focus on the option price movement, I could care less what the chart says, if it hits my stop or my target I’m good. If it’s in profit I’ll use a trailing stop of 3, 5,10 cents, whatever the situation is, in case it starts running.
Im not ditching candles they are an important indicator, but if you really want to know what’s going on you gotta pop the hood and take a look at what’s goin on on the inside.
Identifying patterns is sooooo much easier after the facts but bewildering during actual trading.
Hence why we need to practice. Get better at understanding the patterns during the fact.
This is an amazing quick course. I just got into buy and hold ETFs but now it's nice to actually learn what the graphs mean. I wanted to try one of the newer ai bot stock traders, but it's more complex than I realized.

It is because of the emotion that we had during the trade. In demo, we actually don't really care about loosing the money or even wining, that's because it is not real. so the main thing that you have to change is, the mindset and the emotion. Take care of these two things.

Great intro on candlesticks. Getting Steve's book for more in depth. I noticed my trading is much better after listening to your videos. I get better signal sensitivity to volume, MACD and spike signals now. Hoping to continue with my recent 68% win/loss after weeks of losing. I made the mistake of trying to trade through a bad streak vs just immediately size down and then build back confidence/skill again. Oh well, new rule size down ASAP after any 10% loss is my new rule.

Thank you for sharing this video with me. Today, I experienced a significant loss while attempting to secure funding as a new trader. Initially, I was quite upset because I couldn't comprehend why the trade went awry. However, after watching the video, I revisited the market data for the day and had a revelation. There was a glaring red doji with strong volume support on the VWAP, which I had overlooked. Now, I grasp the reasons behind my loss much better. Instead of dwelling on the setback, I'm viewing it as a valuable lesson. As a newcomer to trading, I'm determined to avoid mistakes that could have been prevented through basic analysis.
