Wayne Goss is the boss. One of his tips that I have taken to heart is how I apply my blush. He says applying it to the apple of the cheeks ages the face and drags it down. Apply it higher on the cheekbone and up to the temple.

Oh yes, Wayne is my very favourite. He just seems like such a nice person, sincere, honest. This eyeshadow technique is for me. Even at 73, I have a lot of space between my lash line and eyebrows and lots of eyelid space. In fact always felt like I had to wear eyeliner of some sort otherwise I looked tired or sleepy. I also tightline. Really brightens the eyes.

@@delilahdelaney Always! If your eyelids are discolored, or if you have prominent veins running through them, use a pigmented eyelid primer. Jason Wu (Target) has two colors, nude and white. Profusion (WalMart) also has the two golors. Or you can use a primer that dries clear. Hard Candy (Walmart) and Milani (WalMart, Target, CVS) both make good ones. There are also many others in the more expensive brands. Make sure to let them dry and then set them with a little translucent powder before you start with the eyeshadow. Good luck!

I want to see the seventies eye shadow look come back. I prefer it to the dark on the outer corner which looks too vampy for my taste. You take a very light shade and go lashline to right under the brow. You add a mid tone to the actual lid, the part that actually covers the eyeball. This shade can have shimmer. Then you want a matte neutral from the crease all the way to the brows, but not under the highest part of the arch. In that triangle under the arch you put a bit of shimmery Highlighter. You sweep the lid shade outwards a bit and 2/3 of the way on your lower lashline. From the outer edge in. This was a design by a famous Italian makeup artist from then, Pablo Manzoni, and it was thought to push the brow bone back and the eyes forward.
