Thanks for the video , you make the swap easy , i just did it on my kids stacyc 12, i follow your video, it work fine, i did not cut the end of the shaft on the new motor , had enough clearance in the gear box for the extra lenght, just backup the thrust of the gear.

I just did this replacement on my sons 13 and when you go to throttle it goes flat out and stays on.
Hi guys, since I did the swap it takes more or less 5mins before the fuse gets blown. My friend did the same and has a similar problem now. Do you have a solution for it?

What is stopping you from finding the strongest motor with the same shaft size and being a big upgrade?
Space and screw hole pattern. We have tried multiple 775 style motors but most are weak and not built strong enough. A brushed motor in these bikes barely gets by.
I did this swap and thank you for the video, but I can only use red and orange settings . The green locks out after a few seconds and I have to power cycle the bike. Any ideas on the issue?
Hmmm we have not had this issue. I will dig into this more and see what I can find.

My son was riding his stacyc bike up and down a big hill a few times. Then about 5 minutes later it’s literally smoking. I took it apart but I can seem to find anything wrong. It still works at the moment. But what’s your thoughts on why it now smokes?
My kid was doing a burnout in the tan bark and his started to smoke as well. Now it blows through batteries faster.
Can upgrade a standard motor with this brushless motor? Or will I need new controller? Thanks🤙🏼
This is for brushed only. Brushless will need a whole kit from Stacyc.

Could I use a traxxas ESC?
No. They are not setup for the heavy kids bikes.
my stacyc bike turns on and then when I give it gas all lights turn on and no power, no beeps. Any idea what the issue is?? Also does a brushless upgrade fit a 12 inch? I heard that my issue might be the controller. thanks
That is most likely the 40a fuse behind the plastics. Replace it and you should be good. The brushless is a good upgrade and removes the fuse.
@@hsmotorsports9239 checked the fuse and it was fine (replaced it too). Same thing. Do you sell the brushless?

its the complete brushless kit unfortunately. There are no direct fit brushless motors at this time.
