I just used this method on my 2002 Buick rendezvous. And you are correct there is no other videos to help. DETROIT HERE and I appreciate you. I didn't use another quick connect though. I just hose clamped it to the outlet. 5-3-2024😊

Plus I just cut the hose past the aluminum clip with tin snips. Pressed hose over tube and Hose clamped it..
30 bucks for the hose on Amazon 😊
