This just happened to me tonight. Paid $200 to tow it to my work and was going to have to pay another 200 to tow it to the mechanic plus what they charge. I can't say how happy I am that I found this!!!
You can replace this bad hose with part #C86099. Just bought it at Auto Zone and it was $26. It has the elbow bent into it already and is 5/8" on one side and 1/2" on the other. Slice the old hose at the plastic T and remove it. break of the plastic parts on the lower metal hose from the engine block. You will need to trim about 1" off each side of the new hose and install it with hose clamps. Fill your radiator back up with proper fluid and you are done.

My “T” connector broke! I was going to do just this but now don’t know what to use for the t connection to this hose.

However long you need it to be. Just get some hose & measure it then cut it to length.
