Thanks a lot. Received quotes in the $400 neighborhood. Haven't changed plugs in probably 40 years. Watching your video convinced me to set up an appointment to have it done. :)

Thanks man. Your video really helped me. I just bought my 2010 Enclave yesterday I couldn't figure out how I would be able to change those spark plugs without moving the engine. Lol. Now I see to just move the intake manifold. Thank u.

I’m doing my wife’s ‘08 this weekend. I hope it goes good. I have changed struts on the front and rear, outer tie rods, and my breaks. Breaks are easy though. My local mechanic told me to change them myself so it would save me money.

.043 inch gap on the plugs. They came pre-gapped and he just checked them. I cleaned my 2012 Acadia throttle body and as I recall the check engine light came on for a few cycles and then never came back on. That was about 3 yrs and 15,000 miles ago.

I don't know if it's just GM or what, but they seem to make it harder for the Do-It-Yourself kind of mechanic to work on their vehicles. Spark plugs used to be out in the open. Now you have to take off the intake manifold? I was going to replace the fuel filter and transmission fluid filter, but I couldn't because the fuel filter is integrated with the fuel pump and the transmission filter is buried deep in the transmission and only replaced during a full service. Ridiculous. But thanks for posting the video!

Yeah these companies know exactly what they are doing. They don’t want us fixing our own stuff. They want us to take it to the dealer. I feel sorry for mechanics that have to work on these modern vehicles. It is so expensive these days because of how long it takes to do stuff.
