    Nubian was written in the Coptic alphabet, with vowels. So much better than the defective Arabic script. (And "defective" is a linguistic term not a value judgment.)

    It's more of fun, actually he was sounding Arabic letters (appears as a stacked horizontal strings on the left) and numbers (appears as vertical enumeration on the right) aka Indian numbers... The numbers he reiterated later on are Nubian but the whole scene are Arabic letters and numbers with a mix of old vocals of Nubian He was actually enjoying the good people around him lol.. Since the Nubian language is so big to teach in such a hurry for bunch of happy looking tourists anyway...

      اللغة النوبية لها ابجديات وليس ابجدية واحده , اول ابجدية اخترعها النوبيون هي الابجدية المروية الحروف المروية ثم الابجدية النوبية التي تبناها النوبيون في العهد النوبي المسيحي ونحن نكتب به الان .

      He just stated he'd like to learn, he's probably African American himself. Chinese, I'm assuming, are learning it to do better business with different groups in Sudan.
      That said, I see no reason for Black Americans to learn it, because we have absolutely no connection to Sudan. Our ancestry is west and central African and even then we have little to no connection to those areas and people anymore.

    • @sakogekchyan7366
      @sakogekchyan7366 Před 6 lety +12

      silence in. the even black
      Yes that might be the case but if white people can claim all of Europe for their ancestry then you can do the same for Nubia.
      Westerners in Europe pride themselves on the accomplishments of the Greeks and Romans as part of their European heritage even though most of them are Anglo-Saxon and only emerged into greatness after the fall of the Roman empire and much later at that.
      Nubian history is African history therefore it does in fact belong to you.
      At the same time West Africa had many great kingdoms of its own such as those in the Sahel like Ghana and Mali and the forest kingdoms of Nigeria such as Ife and Benin.
