so you want an e90 n54
What tire size can I use for a stage 1 stretch on 22x10.5 rim ?
Y'all need to do bikes too! Not much sexier than a low crotch rocket
So you want to wrap your car
Fitment Industries this video is speaking to my soul.. I been watching F.I. While starring at my build. #motivation #senditbeforesellit
I love how James’s “Mo Powah babeh“ has just become a thing. I knew it was gonna be one the first time I heard it.
Hell yea
Hells yeah bro
No shit bro!! Yeah you right I too also lobe how its been making ita way round the inter web 😝😉
moo powahh babeh 😭✊🏿
How to Start Your Car Build:
>MONEY
But more $$ = more problems which also = more $$. It's a vicious circle
Wait you actually said you need more than money to start a car build. Which is not true.
Cheap parts = more problems
More problems = cheap fixes
Cheap fixes = even more problems
learn to go ahead and pay for expensive parts before you end up spending more trying to fix your car
@@wyldewest5613 gotta buy quality parts , unless its $45on amazon and $450 at dealer ...worth a try 🤣
James Albright For example if you want Bags you don’t buy a 1,200$ Set you go for the Quality airlift brand which is 3,500$ but it will last you forever
me: watching this knowing damn well i can’t afford a project car
*Sigh* and to think a 05 WRX would be my first car...
A celica seems like a quite affordable project car tbh, there isn't much you would need to do to it to make it look cool imo.
😂💔 true no 🍞
am i wrong for wanting my first project car to be a ls swapped schassis later to be twin turbo
Bro don't just give up on the idea I'm legit building a car on a dishwasher's salary you don't need money for a project car you need lots of patience and as many skilled friends as possible. I'm currently a little over a year into build my first car and so far I have a full (700watt rms) sound system, a set of Enkei wheels on it wrapped in federals, a muffler delete, and I'm working on getting a set of coils adapted to fit it bc well nobody make anything for Geo Storms. Of course I'm like barely started but only about 5k(including the original price of the car) into a completely running driving car that's not shit rigged. It's ton of saving up a ton of saving and patience but as long as you adjust your expectations you could end up with something really nice in the end. So yeah your probably not getting a 1000hp dream car but if you just want to get in to the community a cheap 90s economy car or older mustang is a perfect start.

Where can I get rolly bois, traction pathers , and suspension goey uppy and downies?
Psssst www.fitmentindustries.com 😂
@@FitmentIndustries Never heard of them... better than ebay?
MrKryscendo doubt it. ebay all the way
@@MrKryscendo definitely
Be realistic with your budget, and don't squander on the little dinky stuff.
Fake vents represent!
Holdup. You’re telling me I shouldn’t put a fake hood scoop on a pt cruiser without even measuring at least?
Soo no big wing on my clearly stock corla s?
Whatever makes you happy! But for the price of two, you could probably buy a spinnyboi....
Spiny boy it is
When car season is here👆👆👇👇
When car season won't start till next year cause 2020 is gay
Bryson Kuhn i'm saying bro this corona fucked my plans smh
We need “how to convince your parents to get a modified car because you don’t have a license becuase you’re 12”
_Asking for a friend_
😂 good luck my dude
Yup
Oh my dude, trust me on this one. Buying modified car sounds all cool etc., but it´s gonna be your NIGHTMARE.
I also wanted modified car as my 1. car, so i did. Nothing crazy, but it was B swapped civic. I was still in school and couldn´t finish the build for shit. There was a lot of work to do, some things went bad and i barelly had money for gas. Trust me, i consider being so hasty one of my greatest mistakes. A lot of wasted money and looking like a fool. You srsly don´t need a lot of hp to have fun as long, as you treat your car well.
Good luck in the future, i hope it works out better for you.
Boy is only 12 already knows he wants a modified car. HELL YEAH !!!👍
@@RealLeskot I got a G35. Your correct and I would say it's a money pit, but I wouldn't nor can I stop now. I'm in too deep, and I love it.
"One more dorito in here wouldnt hurt."
And thats how I gained 10 pounds during quarantine
I made a big ass mess of toys as a kid and swept it under my bed and ignored it until I moved. Thats also whats going to happen with my build
Ayyy “Mo Powah Babeh” shoutout I see you 👀
Donut
I'd recommend going with a car with a massive platform to start with, and/or don't live in Australia.
Our shipping fees are shite, our economic value is shite, and personally trying to do all that, with a FK1 Civic, is very difficult.
Oath.
The only modified cars we seem to have are Falcons and Commodores, the shit boxes. 😂
This is facts :(
Jacob Day crashed my xr6t 2 days ago that piece of shit was my baby I called her my queeen. Doubt you’ve ever owned one of those, both of them are great cars if I had to guess you drive an old Camry or a pulser so your opinion is irrelevant
wheels/nice tires, coilovers, brake upgrade and a tune are my essentials. always completely transforms the look and feel
For me that would be getting a car first. 😭
Same. I can't even figure out what car I want. Any suggestions for a first project car? preferably japanese
Average Drift Car Guy miata
@@frosty8936 anything sleeper. Could be corolla. Could be altezza. Maybe 350z (but that mught be overbudget to you)
It's all about preferences, dude
I'm in the same boat. The worst part is having the patience to wait and save up money when you already know the car you want to buy.
@@frosty8936 Hondas are a good place. Cheap parts, easy to work on, and the engines last a long time.
bold of you to assume i actually want to start a build instead of just making a list
😂
IDK why but whatever that was at 1:05 had me cracking up. 😂
So you want a Lexus GS/Aristo or So you want to make a VIP build
First step.
-have the money to spend on parts, and have a project car.
*yeaaa, I don’t have that, I’d rather not risk losing something i love. (RX7)*
Its easy when your dream car is your only or daily. Any time something comes up for maintenance, try an do some research on whats the most reliable upgrade of that part
Was last on the list but I made the cut! I'm absolutely in LOVE with my 2013 gli autobahn. I've done my research, did my homework and I'm going as slow as I can possibly go. Got my rotiforms on it and they pop! Now for diffuser and later on a stage tune upgrade. Thanks fitment Industries!
I found the best thing to do is to write down what you want your car to look like and feel like and ultimately be like, then start by writing out a build list of mods you want to accomplish. My first build, I did none of those things, and it became what my wife delicately described as an "eye sore".
Bought my is300 and can’t wait for car season!!
Just bought a 2002 VW mk4 gti and this helped alot, thank you! :)
Thanks for all the amazing shows.
Another great video more power baby!!!!
Another great video🔥
The vid that comes out on my birthday, nice.
Thanks for this.
I'm so hyped I'm getting a genny once this whole thing is over and the dmvs open up!
Crashed my car 2 days ago videos like these just make me miss her ;(
wsp alex all i gotta say is thanks this vid helped me alot
5:07 MO POWA BABY
Save. Save. Save. While saving, plan it out. Watch install and review videos and read forums. By the time a sufficient amount is saved up, meaning you won’t go broke buying a part or parts, you’ll know exactly which brand to go with, what supporting mods are necessary, how to install, and what setbacks could occur with or after the installation. Most importantly, enjoy the process and have no regrets, just learn 👍🏼
After watching this video I am convinced you deserve 1m subs
That's what I attempted to do with my BRZ. Starting slowly by slowly.
Research goes a long way.
Getting my coilovers tommorw😌
I might do this for my first car
As an FRS owner I was happy when my platform was mentioned as popular. Slow boy gang 🙌🏻
Excellent advice, and hilarious! "While im in there..." lol
You really change my life
More power baby
5:09 Donut crossover?
👀
I plan to go slow and steady on my z build, I won't make the mistake of cheaping out
Just scooped up my XXR wheels from you yesterday to start said build!
Don't forget to upload it to the gallery when it's done!
@@FitmentIndustries give me 10-15 days...;)
Throwback to when I was like 18 and had my old 280ZX. I decided to buy a rusted out flood car, when I didn't even know how to replace a head gasket or do any type of body work a let alone pull all the dents and replace all the rust. Fun times 😬
Where is the reverbed HELLO 😂
Great video Alex!
I liked this video. I'm hoping to buy a Nissan Sentra B15 SeR Spec V if I can't find a B13 SeR in my area, or even just a 2 Door B13 with a manual transmission. It'll be my first COMPLETE build and I already have ideas on how it's going to turn out
Quarantine has done things to Alex.
It’s funny you mentioned multi piece wheels, currently refinishing a set of rays nismo LMGT3’s, I got a really good deal on them but refinishing them is getting expensive, still worth it though
im already saving for my g35 🤤
Start a series where we send in pics of our builds, then you guys tell us which wheels you think would be baller and or what would you guys do to it if it were yours? Love the chanel, thanks Alex
I’m still in the process of building my car the way I want it 😅 I got it all blacked out finally but it’s gonna be a long time before I get everything done that I want. It’s getting lowered next 😎🤙
I am in desperate need of new tires on my newly acquired ‘98 Civic DX but I’ve got a catalytic converter on the way and that’s going to be my first job on one of my own cars
As a sophomore in high school I can’t wait to get behind the wheel
So you want an n54/e9x 3 series.
Save your money and do it right the first time. This can apply to a lot of things and not just cars.
Nice couch
Dont be afraid to try out cheap options where you can. It can be beneficial in the long run
I fell into the while I'm in there trap and now have a set lowering springs, rims and handful of suspension mods sitting in my garage waiting to be put on... eventually LOL
I'm about to start my first build!! I'm leaning towards a Mustang 2005+(not really sure)!!
5:05 lol it happend
Having an end-goal for the build would be helpful to keep expectations, budget and time committed in check.
Step 1: get money
Step 2: buy car
Step 3: modify car
Step 4: go broke
Can you do a video with the best looking wheels on a 2009-2014 Acura TL
I was searching for Rpf’s and FI by far has the easiest buying process compared to TireRack.
Alex is my hero looking like molly and the comfy couch
Imagine having enough money to buy a car 🙃
Car guys don't let that stop them, my boy wore 1 pair of sneakers & the same pants all year to build his a4, another first wore 2 sweatsuits & 2 pair of Nike air maxes for about 9 months to buy his dream car
Get a job
You’ll get there bud
Start small,buy a civic
Shit the price of cars is tanking pretty rapidly. You can find decent used rides on the cheap like 5 grand and lower.
How would you start on a Mazda Miata ND? I have the 2018. I would like to add a little more power before I go with suspension and wheels. I’m very new to cars clearly.
Can you give some suggestions on getting custom parts? I have a 2015 2.0 Taurus, and I’d like to do some work on it, but there is no aftermarket demand. I would’ve went with a SHO, as AWD is preferred for my one hour drive one way to the hospital I’m a nurse at, but there hasn’t been any in my area, and so I settled for the 2.0
That is a nice couch.
Since I'm down here I might as well ask this question
Should I get clutchmasters clutch & flywheel or something else?(hehe)
It is a really nice couch🛋
I joined the marines and worked my ass off. Then I got a job at NASA (no college degree). I also live in a studio apartment and have a whole 3 pairs a jeans and one of them are my “working jeans” I did all of this so I could afford my project cars
Attempted making a diy cat delete pipe. Ended up with 3 / 4 broken manufold bolts and a terrible leaking exhaust. Ended up getting long tubes to compensate and learned from it
I gave up trying to build a project car. Let's face it. I'm getting older, don't have a lot of money, so a project car is the least of my worries right now. Kuddos to all the people that do this through. I never could.
Get your paint, rims then tires then drop it. Solid foundation.
Oh man, my mistake on my first car build is getting a 90 NA 300zx as my first build, after hating cars for the longest time. It was a rough few years. Until I broke her.
Tylor York yikes that’s me rn haha
100% facts i found myself in that very situation
Im toying with an 03 Elantra GT. So many ideas. So little bread or active forums.
Ha my first project is an ongoing project . My mistake was well buying a NA 97 eclipse spyder that didn’t work as my first car and ended up making it work as a daily driver while having the intentions on modding engine one a limited budget at the time.XD after spending loads of money for no reason (tow trucks labor for absolutely nothing) I bough another car to daily drive and well going about the right way to start the car off. Oh ps the eclipse had a bad bad misfire that never went away even with a whole ignition system swap compression ratio is fine and ran through oil in less than a month for absolutely no idea as to why I used all my oil constantly.
One day...I'm gonna get a notification on my cell. And it will be a thumbnail of Pumphrey on FI or Alex on Donut. One day...it's gonna happen...you just wait!
I was thinking of buying a Pontiac gt for my very first car but later then realized that I doubt it’s a great idea because of the condition and how new I am to the car build scene.
Uhhh I think I did it backwards. I got my exhaust now I’m looking for coilovers 😅. But great vids all together fellas
Oh the o’l patented “While I’m in here..” damn that’s an expensive 4 word sentence isn’t it... 🤣💯🤣
My mistake on my first build was a Datsun 1983 280 zx turbo. Oh and living in Wisconsin.
whoever writes alex's intros needs a raise
MO POWER BABYYY!!!!!
Waiting For So You Want Episodes 😍✌️
I love the “while I’m in here line” because I “while I’m in here” myself into a 416 Stroker kit after shooting a lifter 😅
Oh no, RIP! 🥺 hope you can get it done up quickly in time for the season! -Edgar
@@FitmentIndustries thanks! In the break in process rn, got about 200 miles left!
my first would be a carboin fiber hood i already did a short throw and a turbo back on lowering springs
as in first visual mod
FITMENT INDUSTRIES, DO A VIDEO ON SUBARU LEGACY ALREADY
or pls just let me know if you're considering it. I was completely on my edge when I saw fitment's notification and always be wishing it was a "So You Want a Subaru Legacy"
So please Fitment, do me a favor. Do your fans a favor
You guys should make a Canadian shop
What are some ways to make more power without forced induction?
Can you guys do a SO YOU WANT on the Acura RL or LEGEND?
Hey Alex why not make a video on @Fitment Industries wheel inventory or their most rarest wheels?
I have an 05 wrx first thing always is the exhaust took me 2 extra days and an extra 400$ because the headers wouldn’t fit right🥴
I just wing it, adds an extra touch
4:50 MOH POWA BABY just say it man I know you really wanted to say it😂
haven’t even started “building” my mk4 jetta, just steady making repairs..i miss driving her
So should I build my 00 nissan maxima 5 speed or my 00 civic or both.....🤔
Can you do a video on how to modify an NA car?
