Love my IS. Bought one 3 years ago as my first car and about a month ago, I bought my second IS which is a 5 speed. Got a deal on it because it needed a new clutch (witch I did myself) Can't say I've heard them having problems with oil consumption though, and as long as you replace the timing belt at the 100k mile service interval you're fine. Also, the cup holders suck and riding in the back seat ins't a fun experience. Another gripe is that there aren't a ton of parts available new for these cars as apposed to the E46 but these also break a lot less being Toyota. All in all though, I love these cars and can't see myself not owning one.

I love how people always forget about this car. They have their own cult following just like WRXs'. They're like a little secret making em that much better but there is one car that receives even less attention and also has a 2jz. All I'm saying fitment is that for the next video... "So you want a SC300"

Since I'm based in the UK I can only realistically get an IS200. Not like that's a problem, I got to drive one yesterday at a car meet with a Japspeed exhaust system and it was glorious. It was so comfortable, the shifter falls very nicely to hand, and the seating position is sporty. And the noise...my God it sang such a beautiful soundtrack. I want one now.

I love mine. 2004 is300 silver automatic 140k miles on it. Rides smoother than when I first got it at 50k. We going to ride this baby to 400k. Will try and get one manual in future.
