I love this scene! The first time I watched the episode I admit I found the camerawork slightly annoying, but I feel like it simply adds to these few minutes.
Gwen had a point. Rhys never thinks before he acts. He never uses his brain or his eyes, just barging into places! If I Had a girlfriend keeping secrets from me, I would think about why she would hide them. Everyone keeps secrets.
Rhys also had a point in the scene. She'd been lying to him and cheating on him with the shite Owen Harper. Gwen claiming that he hunts aliens could had been just another excuse.
