chrysleroutboarddude Thanks - I pulled the plugs, and one was black and oily, the other a light brown - so I replaced both - this made a night and day difference, but I'm still not getting the performance of your 1972 6hp. Do you have any suggestions for me? I can indicate that compression on both cylinders (testing using the pull cord), was 62 psi. Your only running on one cylinder. Check the spark on both cylinders.
