It's a really cool place
Just got done going to THAT place and was surprised they actually have a lounge with a dentist and a chiropractor ready to help truckers. They also have top notch security while I was waiting for my wife and kid outside the restrooms they checked to make sure we was ok .

Last time I was at the Big 80, it was 1997.
And I was in a 97' Peterbilt out of a Nebraska company called La'Bellas.
Just after Bud Meyer closed down.

I parked the truck and later couldn’t find it. I felt like a child in Disney world. Nice truck stop!!

The flat-nose trucks are way more common in Europe ! We do not have those ,,Sharp,, ones lol
At one time the American roads had more flat nose than conventional trucks. Something changed that in the 80s or 90s. Thank you for watching! 😀

I don't know much about the trucking industry but I have heard real good things about CFI on how they treat their drivers. 😉

truth be told though, I really want to drive for TMC. Seem like a really good company to get into flatbedding.

The only time we happened to visit this tourist trap was when we drove across the country from New York to Las Vegas in the summer of 2021.

I'm not a truck driver but I would love to visit the Iowa 80 truck stop if and when I do become a truck driver or if I am doing a road trip and if I do become a truck driver I want to work for CFI
You definitely need to swing by the Iowa 80 when you can. It is a fun place to visit, and I think non truckers enjoy it just as much 😉

It was a fun visit! I think I drove about 3.5 hours to get there and I'm glad I checked it out. 😀
My favorite part was at 12:04 when you closed off part of the isle ahahah, it was such an Aquarius thing to do of you and it made me laugh out loud.
