Spain, which catapulted the Catholic religion into full swing in the Philippines back in the 16th century totally took a 180 degree turn from being an ultra conservative society influenced by the Inquisition to being one of the most liberal in Europe especially nowadays after the end of the Franco era. While walking the streets of Atocha in Madrid for example one could not help but notice the abundance of "peep show" places, as they are called in Europe, where live erotic entertainment "performed by a couple" 😉 is featured and open to one's viewing pleasure at the drop of a token.
