Fala pessoal! Paulo from Jubilee here! I’m a Brazilian Korean and this was a super special episode for me because I could really relate to the things everyone was talking about being a Latino. Are you Latino? Where are you from or which country do you identify with? If you’re not Latino, then which Latin American country would you like to visit once Covid-19 gets better? Comment below!
Um salve para o meu povo brasileiro! É nois!

And it's crazy that he is more latino than anybody else there, since most of them can barely or not speak Spanish at all, have never lived in their ancestors country or have lived abroad for so many years.

Brazil is not a Latino country, our culture is different, a Carnival in Brazil is very different from a Carnival in Colombia or Venezuela or Argentina, and most of the times when there is some similarity is just this countries imitating brazilian carnival, we also have other festivals which are unique to Brazil. Our culture overall is more african than any other country in Ibero America, but at same time we're also more european than almost all the countries in Ibero America except for Uruguay and Argentina. Our culture is also more cosmopolitan very similar to the concept of "melting pot" that exists in the US. Brazil is different from the Latino countries just like Portugal is not the same as Spain, or the US doesn't have the same culture as England, despite being their colony.

Answering you consider yourself 'latino' when you're given the choice of answering 'from x country' sounds like you're implying that a somewhat bodiless concept is more important to you than your own country(?). I don't know how to explain it, but it's weird.
Being from a certain region truly takes relevance when you're abroad and you meet someone who is from that place as well and shares cultural values with you, even if they are the guys from Neighborstan you used to hate so much, but, hey! And by the way, "the VIBE" thing most of the comments are talking about isn't everything. Humans are humans. I've met very shy mexicans, who doesn't like dancing, or drinking, or even traditional foods (as weird as it sounds). We're just all different and that doesn't make anyone less latino. And well, Brazil speaks Portuguese, which although to a certain extent is intelligible with the Spanish language, at the same time it has its differences, (and it must be remembered that Brazil has 211 million inhabitants and 8.516 million km2, it is practically a world within of himself) the only country that may be similar is Mexico with 127.6 million inhabitants

@Dashawn Jefferson it's clear that you don't know anytihing about latin america, Argentina?, Uruguay? even the south of brazil and Chile is full of white people and white descendants, Argentina not only have spaniar ancestry but also italian, the same with the south of brazil and chile have germanic descendants in the south, in chile there's still prussian traditions in our army, mexico is not all of latin america, almost the 40% of latin america is white people, you don't mix like 20 countries in just 300 years.
Our culture is the mix between LATIN traditions and native traditions, we mixed them, changed them, create new culture, etc...
and obviously the nationality it's not enough, if you have the nationality but don't know anything about latino you are other gringo to us, the same if you don't even have that nationality and still don't know anything about latin america.
and i know the differences between race, culture, nationality and ethnicity, but you guys in the usa are obsessed with it.
and yes, if you have the culture, the language, the traditions and you have lived in latin america you are like any other latino, we don't care where are you from, but how you embraced the culture and know about our culture, i mean we don't even use the word latino in our countries, in fact a lot of people HATE other countries, like, look at chile, chile literally fought with all of its neighboring countries

@@ninjaman815 And how are we defining Latino features? Some people are more pale because they’re descended from Spanish people. Others are darker because they are descended from the natives or Africans. There is such a large variety of “Latino features” that someone who has red hair could very well be Latino.

the audacity to vote andre out. he is the most obvious latino out of all of them. He looks it and sounds it. my mom is from brazil, so i know what the accent sounds like, especially growing up hearing the accent and language from my mom, grandma, and moms brazilian friends. he has the accent even when speaking english. and yes anyone can speak Portuguese but not everyone will have the accent.
