American / US Army Experimental Prototype Bell 2149 Hovercraft/Air Cushion Vehicle JBLE 1962

Some grainy footage, but in color, of a prototype helicopter at the US Army’s TRECOM research facility (now part of the Transportation Group of Joint Base Langley-Eustis / JBLE). It is known to have been shot in 1962.
The footage was taken by a British Army Officer, of the Royal Engineers, who was posted to Fort Eustis in 1961/1962.
It is early in terms of the practical development of hovercraft and I’ve been unable to find out any other references to it.
