There's some truth to this. The only reason so many people became Clippers fans this year was because they wanted LeBron and/or the Lakers to lose.
Sadly, many Laker fans became Clipper fans when LeBron joined the Lakers. Historically, Laker fans always rooted against LeBron because they supported Kobe instead. It was hard for some Laker fans to cheer for LeBron starting in 2018 after they had been cheering against him for 15 years. It's fine with me if they turned in their Laker fan card, but they sure as Hell better not be trying to take it back now that they've won another.
Its quite easy to understand actually being the lakers are disliked because of winning 10 now 11 chips in the modern era and looked upon as the greatest bball franchise and one of the greatest sporting franchises in a great market of all time so naturally, a lot of people are going to be envious. Dr buss set a standard of winning and spoiled laker fans.
