(Note: the blocks and flow layout of the course do get altered by the course water level and by the course designers. You must take a walk down the course before paddling it to ensure you are familiar with it. I paddled the course in January 2022 and it flowed at 8 cumecs).

Great video thanks. Have you paddled at Lee Valley? If so, how does CIWW and Nene compare to there? Thanks

Thanks for your positive comment. I haven't paddled at Lee Valley. However, looking at the many YT videos, it looks more like CIWW in style and grade. Here's my friend Pete with his video: czcams.com/video/vtrGNOJq2Fk/video.htmlsi=JAj0TJXyfvjZ_H7E&t=121 - starting at the whitewater bit. Good luck and happy paddling.

@@EdDaveKayaking that's great, Many thanks. I was at CIWW last weekend (your video was so useful prior to going) and am planning on going to Nene next. I've not been to Lee Valley too but am reading mixed reviews on how it compares to CIWW. I guess everyone will experience things differently and have their own views. Keep the videos coming, they're great 😃

Nice run Dave I found 8 very pushy but easier than 6as it’s flatter with more water

Thanks. I agree Pete - drop 8 flushes you through which helps. Wasn't keen on 6 as did feel the pull of the stopper!

Just came across this and gave me bad memories of this course , got run over by rafts a few times and only made it without capsizing twice.

Thanks for the comment. Like most courses, it can be crowded when it's busy. Glad you made a couple of successful runs down though.
