This just makes Ceremony’s so much easier… Thank you for all you do for the Dj community
OK, thanks. I just use velcro anyway. It works perfectly and is cheaper. But the shelf is a good idea. A universal shelf would probably sell pretty good.
NOO SORRY SHES DOO FOR AL DJ HWO USE DIS FOR ALL COMPANY TO LORNE NOT ONLY BLUETHOT ITS BEST , I LIKE SHE SHOW ECXAT DISTANT OF SPEKERS WET NOT BLUETHOT ALTERNATIVE BEST DEN BLUETHOTH
It was great hanging out for the premiere of this. Extremely informative and beneficial. Thank you for sharing all of the ways we can enhance our events; especially wedding ceremonies! (And bonus: make our own setup and teardown easier!)
Great video! I was just pondering purchasing this speaker to accompany my Prime Go.
Thank you DJ Rachel, as always very detailed review of the battery powered system for a wedding DJs.
Thanks Rachel. FANTASTIC breakdown of how this stuff works. Still a little confused with the syncing. I just need to practice!
Thanks! Great video.👍

Amazing information Rachel!!! Thank you 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for checking this out. Happy to help!
Beautiful effects, nice sound off
Love this! I have always used a Bose S1, but the louder SPL on the Everse makes it a great replacement. Also, this is a great speaker to use when you have dinner in a separate room. I was wondering where the divider was. Great video Rachel.
Thank You For The Video I Will Definitely Get The Everse 8
Appreciate your time!
A typical DJ Rachel well organized, top notch video that covers everything! TY

Love the EV product. I have 4 Zlx 12bt in my garage. The speakers are awesome!!!thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for stopping by! ☺️
By far the most comprehensive and thorough review of this system setup i've seen on youtube. Amazing, great job and thank you for this. I know what to buy for my weddings. Definitely subbing and liking!
Appreciate your time and kindness. Happy to help.
Excelent Video!!! I was wondering how to do a wireless gig securely. This is just amazing and well thought. Thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks for your time to check this out. I’ve been doing this for YEARS and haven’t found a better solution than this. 🙂Always run a cable when you can, but this is next best.
Thank you for the tip on Pilot Tone! That's one thing I never knew about, and I can't tell you how many time's I've had to sprint from one speaker to the other after the ceremony, because I forgot that it would make that noise when I shut the transmitter off lol. I've been using the Sennheiser system for years, and it's amazing how few people know about this little gem. One other thing to note, is that you can run multiple receivers from the same transmitter simultaneously. It's a huge help to have a couple of extra speakers for mic audio inside the reception space, especially if there are weird angles to the venue, or if your DJ booth is set up in a location where some guests are either directly next to you or behind you. I consistently place speakers in the far corners of the room for a stereo effect without having to blast the primary speakers. It's pretty much identical to the setup you used for the first cocktail hour Everse video you created :). I use the headphone port on my mixer for the transmitter and I select individual channels that I want to send out.
awesome video Rachel as always ...just did some crunching on the total we are looking around 3500 bucks for this set up ....not bad at all considering that you will have the best possible equipment ....and peace of mind is priceless ..thank you once aging Rachel ...you are awesome ...
Thanks for making this I had no idea those wireless packs were that detailed of a setup 😳
Glad I could help!
I just got the Everse12. I'm excited to see what I can do with it.
Fantastic speaker! Enjoy!
Greatings from México. Thanks so much to help me to take decisions to purchase the everse 8. Iam Street musician dusking. I think the everse is the Best opcion. I hope I am not wrong!
Thanks
Thank you for this comprehensive tutorial! Answered every question I needed to know about making my Everse 8s and Sennheiser mic wireless. Only thing that sucks I need to buy the transmitters now..smh..lol. Thanks again!
Happy to help! It’s totally worth it!
Amazing 🤩
Thanks!
Great show Rachel. See you next time
Thanks! 🙂
Great video! 🙌
Thank you so much! I appreciate you stopping by the channel to check this out. ☺️
That hollyland mic you’re using in this video I’ve used on dozens of ceremonies and events and never had a drop out. It’s the most shockingly affordable and incredible mic I’ve purchased and I own $1,000+ mics. Shockingly incredible for the $100 price tag. My officiants love it. Quick setup. :-)
I’ve used it it a few times myself (see link). It does work well, but I don’t see it as a direct replacement for a quality professional mic.
The problem with 2.4GHz in as simple terms as I can apply, SATURATION, PHYSICS, and POWER. It's a highly crowded part of the spectrum, from microwaves, security systems, bluetooth, routers, and so much more all vying for the same space. You are also technically limited to only 3 primary channels (1, 6, and 11) while the other channels have overlap on everyone else. Because of that finding a clear signal can be a challenge. And while even the best brands have options in the 2.4GHz with advanced features like auto-switching to clear channels, the fact remains you are driving on a crowded road with some careless drivers. That all leads to a higher potential of failure.
Being that 2.4GHz is high of a frequency it is physically a very short wavelength. This means penetrating through objects, people, etc. is more difficult. This means it can only travel shorter distances in a practical setting with the rule of thumb being 100' is the max range. It reduces your options to place equipment in this "goldilocks" zone. This all leads to a higher potential of failure.
If you are using a mic (or IEM) in the 470-608 MHz spectrum you are generally accessing less busy frequencies to operate on. Yes some cities it's more challenging to find open frequencies competing with TV stations, relays, etc. But the general rule of thumb is you are likely to find more than a couple groups with some open frequencies to operate on.
In general 300' can be achieved with stock antennas and you have options to improve your antenna capabilities. All of this gives you more opportunity of success.
So in short, 2.4GHz can work, until it won't. Why take on that risk in a mission critical environment?

Clearly you are still by far the best when it comes to strategies for better set-ups. Love Dj Rachel's video's... Tell your mom hello, and thanks for the cameo & testimony... 😊
I appreciate that!❤
I just bought the JBL EON MK2 as a battery powered option because I’m 4’9 and having to put speaker on a tall pole and possibly having to readjust is very challenging for me.
But seeing all these cool features makes me want one 😅
Awesome video ❤
Always apprecate your interest and time to check out what I got going on. Thanks for being you DJ Harvie!
The GOAT of DJ reviews! Thanks again😀
❤️🙏🏻
I concur!
I use this as a musician and I’ve used just one at farmers markets with foot traffic of 3500 people and it works amazingly with volume to spare. It’s probably the best all in one thing around.
What a cool use for this! It’s amazing what we can do with portable sound. I appreciate your feedback on the EVERSE. Keep bringing those good vibes to the Farmers Market. ☺️
@@DJRachelLynch yeah and I don’t have to use a generator like others do and bring a giant sound system. I’m in and out insanely quick. Stuff like this is what gets people gigs
Excellent video and very well done. You present yourself very well and always enjoy watching your vidz :) I currently own this speaker and have used it for numerous ceremonies, both with a Shure mic system and without. The bluetooth range for streaming music is fantastic. You can put this speaker in 1 area of a venue, and take your iPad, or phone with you and the music will still continue to play.
So glad you’re loving this speaker. I’m definitely looking forward to using it this wedding season. Appreciate your time to check this out and kindness. Have a great event season. 🤘🏻
@@DJRachelLynch You got it :) Thanks for all you do for the DJ community. You really do a great job.
Going to get an Everse 8 ;) even though I like the price point of the Go-Thump, time to level up. I live in S. Arizona and we've done some pretty remote ceremonies in desert canyons, near lakes, mesquite forests, and ghost towns.
This will be a great solution. The EVERSE 8 has significantly more output than the Mackie.
This is gonna be epic. I can tell from the pic.
Let me know what you think. :)
18:08 Awesome video as usual. Quick mic tip from a sound geek. The headset mic should be beside the mouth not in front of it. Those mics are designed differently from your hand held mics. The sensitive mic will pick up breath noise and plosives or “P” sounds if placed in front of the mouth as you were wearing it. Works better just to one side or below the mouth. ;) Love your content- keep rockin!
🫡 Appreciate it and your time to check this out.
Gonna upgrade from the JBL EON One compact to get this. Great video.
It’s a significant upgrade in SPL and clarity. You’re going to be very happy. I did the same thing. I had a EON compact and liked it, didn’t love it. Enjoy your EVERSE! Thanks for your time to check this out.
Anyone know what a shure brand equivalent to these transmitters is? I just have all shure mics so I'd like to keep it on the family of anyone knows of something comparable. Great video Rachel!
I have a similar set up with two Bose speakers. Just want to share that you can use the Sennheiser XSW-D Base kit or vocal kit which is a pair of USB-C wireless XLRs. Sounds confusing until you look it up. It’s been a GAME CHANGER for me! I also have the XSW-D instrument set which is basically a rechargeable battery powered jack lead. I have two of each set!
Hi, are you using 2 x Bose S1 pro Plus daisy chained together, and how do you think they would perform in aa average sized Socia or Working mens club, I'm trying to lighten up my equipment by about 85 percent.
I really love this setup but I was more impressed by sticking with the 1 speaker setup like your previous ceremony setup (30M) and that's what I'm shooting for at the moment but of course you went 1 level ahead now lol. At least if I decide to do 2 speakers I will take your Sennheiser EW 112 advise.
I still plan on using my 30M. There are some events where I will need the additional SPL output, Hercules mixer, or the other inputs for live musicians and stuff. I’m definitely not abandoning that setup. It’s fantastic. This is for those events where only the basics are needed or two tops will do a better job. 🙂
Those have to be the thickest antennas I’ve ever seen on a wireless system. The EV8 is Arguably the best battery powered speaker I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning
I upgraded them to 1/2 wave. Better reception that way. Best speaker ever!
Really nice video Rachel ! Just a quick question for the Sennheiser packs. I've been using the exact Senn G4 system, and I do discover a significant lack of bass frequency when I use them to transmit audio signals that requires fuller frequency respons (e.g. music playbacks) . I think it's because it's a analog wireless system that it needs to compress the audio signal for transmission efficiency. If this will be the case and probably a digital system would solve it. Do you have this problem with your system?
Thank you @DJRachelLynch!! You are such a pro and explain things so well. Very grateful for your content. I’ve used one EV8 like this for ceremony but never paired them like this. Really wanting to get that pack. I like the idea of not using Bluetooth to link the speakers but don’t you need to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth to control everything with the EV app?
The app connection is separate from the Sennhesier packs. You can use both simultaneously.
This is a really nice system you put together here! I was a little concerned at first because I thought you were gonna be using bluetooth at your ceremonies. I NEVER trust bluetooth in any capacity at my wedding ceremonies. It can flake out on ya at any given moment when you least expect it. So glad when I saw you said you hardwire your music device. Yes!!!! Same here. This video has reminded me that I need to make an updated video on my battery powered ceremony system. Anyway, great job as always! You have the perfect system now for sure!
Thank you so much for your time to check this out. The EVERSE Bluetooth system works really well, but I don’t underestimate the imitations of it. Bluetooth will always be an amateur connection and have risks. Nothing will ever beat an actual direct connection. Also, the distance is exponentially better as you saw. Night and day. There is no reason to not just plug a simple cable in and know it’s gonna work every time. We are definitely on the same page! Appreciate your comment and kindness.
@@DJRachelLynch Agreed 100% on everything you just said!
Ahhh…you’ve just answered my question.
Hi Rachel! Great video! If you needed to add say 1 more mic for readers, or the groom how would you add a second wireless?
I’d probably use this system instead with a Jackery.
czcams.com/video/CzKDIZe8u6s/video.html
Or I’d use an additional mic base and power it with a Jackery.
Fantastic video. Clear and detailed. One question - is there any reason to turn the AFS off at all ? Seems like that would be something I'd want turned on permanently...
Thanks so much! I have mine on all the time. I can’t think a reason why you wouldn’t need or want it on. If I find out anything additional regarding this feature, I’ll let you know.
Hey Rachel! Wow... another amazing vid with the play by play... much appreciated. This is exactly the video I needed to see this evening. I've been using the G4's for years for my vocal support for the officiants and grooms/when needing the 2nd for personal vows. I do really dig the way the Everse works with the RE3. So, only question I have. How does the EV RE3 system perform for live speech... vs... the Senn G4's? Also, what software are you running music for the ceremony with? I was thinking of switching to a pad versus using a whole laptop. Again, really appreciate you and your kick ass vids. Cheers - GUNZ
Thanks for taking the time to check this out. I’m glad it was helpful. I absolutely love the EVERSE 8. The RE3 has been a great microphone. I also use it in my DJ console. However, the speaker will work with other mic brands, so if your partial to your Sennheiser G4s then keep rocking those. 🙂
I use DJ pro AI for all of my ceremony and cocktail hour music. It’s also a great back up. It’s a tremendous program that’s subscription-based and available for all tablets. Using an iPad. Makes everything so much easier. I would definitely consider it if I were you! If you check out my other ceremony system video, I talk a bit about DJ pro AI and how it works.
😉 Great Video and Information! Great Move On The Direct Connect! My Next Move Is Sennheiser ew 112P G4! Thanks Again!! BTW... Where DO You Get Those Hella Huge Antennas On The Back Of The Mic Receiver?
Appreciate you checking this out. ☺️ This is the best way to transmit sound to the other EVERSE hands down. You’ll love it!
Hello there Rachel! Where DO You Get Those Hella Huge Antennas On The Back Of The Mic Receiver?
Thank you so much. What a great video. If I have an iPad playing on 3/4 and Vocal mic on Chanel 1. How do I set up Music ducking when someone speaks on the microphone?? I really appreciate your response.
Inputs 1&2 have ducking in the DSP.
great video Rachel, can you add more receivers for more speakers?
Yes. You can additional receivers. 🙂
Awesome review you surely pushed that distance sis lol
😉
This is such a great setup! And I'm actually doing it myself. One problem though is that I feel like I have to turn the sound up on the receiving speaker to match the volume on the transmitting one. Maybe that's just the downside though of using a body back to transmit the sound vs connection via an actual speaker cable
You can adjust everything. Inside the Sennheiser Transmitter, Lower the Sensitivity to somewhere around -12dB, and Inside the Receiver, Play with the AF Out, for example, +6dB, or higher. Keep playing with AF-Out, and Sensitivity until the AF-PEAK is not Hot and it sounds like you think it should.
@@DJRachelLynch wow this is super helpful! I didn't even think about that. thanks so much! I'll try it!
AWESOME VIDEO! I'm looking into everything listed. Question. I'm still using my dual mic system, lapel and hand held with an iPad for music. Everything is attached to a mixer I use to control the volume of my mics and music. Do you control your mic volume directly from the mic base?
I use the EV QUICK SMART app or the on board DSP.
Great speaker I have 2 white …
Thanks for sharing. This is a great setup
May i ask why you didn't just plug both mics into the same primary speaker and use the Bluetooth function to pair both Everses?
The speaker has multiple inputs and is capable of handling both sources simultaneously on the Primary speaker.
Because Bluetooth doesn’t transmit mic signals. It only does Bluetooth music.
In order to have both speakers play the same music and mic signal you need to do something like what I show here.
Hi Rachel, like all the remarks on your youtube tutorial its great, i have been fighting to choose between 2 x Everse 12s or 2 x Bose S1 Pro plus the only thing i have discovered is you can not link 2 wirless speakers with vocals and backing tracks so i have looked into it and Bose have a connection lead to over come this, i just trying to decide as it reduces my set up enormously I am a solo Tribute Artist many thanks.
Thanks for checking this out!
Nice Set up ! Which Apple app are you using to control your ceremony music?
DJAY Pro AI.
I turn my mic backwards so i can see it and access it from the rear.
Not me readin "syncre3" & going "Rachel had a stroke typing out number 10" LOL
There was so much post editing and text added in the video. 😩 I don’t doubt one bit there isn’t a typo somewhere. I probably did mash SYNC and RE3 together. 😬 Sorry! 🤪
@@DJRachelLynch 😂It's all good, just made me wonder what was going wrong with my eyes LOL!
I’m able to leave my tray attached on top when I put it in the EV bag, no stretching. I’m also able to power my Shure ULXD receiver with a 2.1mm to 2.5mm DC power cable (Everse8 to receiver). Hope this helps someone.
You’re the second person to say your shelf fits when attached. Oddly enough, mine is SUPER tight. Not sure what the variance is. 🤔
It’s possible different brands of mics don’t need a special cable. It boils down to of the specs match up.
Appreciate you stopping by and offering your feedback. At this point I think people should just try it. It may or may not fit. 😂🤷🏼♀️
Dj can you make a review of the alto ts408
Sorry to say probably not. I don’t have access to them and I don’t need to purchase any more stuff. I’m sure there has to be a review out there somewhere!
I was looking at those EV 8's for battery ceremonies on Oahu. Right now I've got one Soundboks 3 that has been pretty good.
That is lame that the speakers can talk to eachother with bluetooth but not the mics! I've had good results with the Xvive u3 wireless XLR as long as you have direct line of sight.
Do you only use one mic for most of your outdoor ceremonies? What kind?
I started using two Shure QLX lapels as long as the wind isn't crazy- a cardiod for officiant and an omni for the groom.
Yeah. It would have been awesome if the ability to pair and transmit additional inputs was built in. But this is a solid solution!
Most times I just use one mic attached to the officiant. It’s enough to amplify everyone just fine. 🙂
Wind can be tough for lavs outside. But with proper mic placement and using a LPF (eliminating low frequency) can help a lot.
So - I'm looking for a system that can adress a crowd of approx 200 outside. This would be voice only. Would you reckon a pair of these would suffice? Just worried it would not have enough volume for 200 people (OUTSIDE!)
Did you buy the rain cover clear plastic back-panel? Do you think it will be useful often? I feel like the tray and tote bag are very important accessories but i doubt i'll be setting up the gear with the rain cover on... i guess it might be useful if you only use bluetooth but the rain-cover can't fit on the back if you're plugging in any XLR cables etc....
It comes with the rear plastic cover. They are selling an additional weatherproof case so you can use the open inputs in the rain.
I wonder if that microphone shelf works on other speakers such as the bose s1 pro.
No. It does not. It has specific mounting points and is proprietary to EV.
Great video! Is the dc output from the back compatible with the Shure BLX288?
You’ll need to do a number check on both units to determine that. I’m not familiar with the power requirements of a BLX system.
@@DJRachelLynch Thank you so much! You Rock!!👊🏽
I've tried this wireless speaker setup using a Rode Wireless GO II (Transmitter and receiver) but I noticed that there was some loss in low end sound from the receiving speaker. It didn't punch the same way as the original source. Have you experienced anything like this using your setup? Maybe try it and really listen to the bass response and fidelity.
I personally haven’t noticed any loss of audio quality with my Sennhesier packs. I’ve spent hours testing and tinkering.
I have heard good things about the Rode mics, but have no experience with them to comment directly on your issue.
Hello DJ Rachel was wondering if Sennheiser makes a dual receiver and one transmitter? thank you
You can buy additional ones.
Do you have a link or any information on the XLR cables you are using to connect the EW's to the speakers?
They come with the kit when you buy it.
Soo helpful
I can’t get mine dialed in with the transmitter and receiver db? Could you help you help? What are yours set at? Thank you
Mine is set to -30.
@@DJRachelLynch I’m right around there. Thank you so much for the reply. Take care!
One last question :). What hand held model do you use. Your link is to the RE3-BPCL UHF lavalier set, but I would like a hand held to go along with it.
You can get it with a handheld. It’s the ND76. 🙂
Thanks for this video. What app do you use to play in your Ipad?
DJAY PRO AI
NVM .. I just saw it in your Description.
I noticed that you also have a similar video on the alto wireless professional, do you prefer these over alto?
If you’re on a budget the Alto Stealth Pro works very well. I have had great success with it.
These Sennhesier units are a more premium option and have additional built in protections to prevent signal loss and increase the range.
If budget isn’t a concern I’d get these over the Alto Stealth Pro. However there are options available for all price points. This system is double the price of the Alto Stealth but for good reason.
Is there any reason why you would NOT want to have AFS on at all times?
What is a good dual wireless microphone that would work for your setup? Do electro voice make a dual wireless microphone for this set up?
I’ve never used it, but check out JTS wireless.
I plan on using it with my AMT Mic Reciever. The outer diameter for the dc cable is the same (5,5mm), though the inner diameter on mine is 2,1mm while the Everse cable is 2,65mm. Will is still power my reciever? :/
I’m not sure to be honest. I’d reach out to NLFX who can make a custom cable to make sure it fits and it’s the right power rating.
Hi DJ Rachel. I'm Paul from the west coast and I do weddings and really enjoyed seeing your setup and have seriously looked into these EVs. In the meantime, I had a question about your sennheiser's and reproducing the sound from one speaker to the next or I should say from your main system to the satellite speaker you connect it with. Do you get the full fidelity sound or do you feel like the range is sort of muffled or cut off?. I'm not sure if that makes sense? I have these little DJI wireless mic transmitter/receivers and tried doing something similar as yours with my battery operated speaker used as a satellite and it didn't sound very good. It was a little more compressed as the sound sounded like there wasn't a lot of highs and lows. It was just like too much sound coming through that DJI transmitter and felt like it was distorted. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all you do!
Thanks for checking this out. I don’t have any experience with the DJI. With my Sennheiser packs, it sends the full signal, and they sound great. I’ve been using this option for about six or seven years now. While they are significantly more expensive, I haven’t found anything better.
Thanks Rachel for your speedy reply. I'm going to look further into the Sennheiser. Have a great weekend🎵🎵
Hey Rachel, what mic do you use for video recording?
This:
amzn.to/3lVx1kO
I just got them. They work great!
With your Mic Base powered by the speaker, how long would a full charge give you, running both off of the speaker battery?
Battery times explained here….

Funny that you said: “it’s Sunday… I don’t want to drive my neighbors crazy… today”
Question: how do you adapt you Ceremony rig in case you have live musician that need to connect to your system?
I would use my Electro-Voce 30M in that case. I’ve done it before and it’s perfect for that application. Right tool for the job, always. 🙂
czcams.com/video/CzKDIZe8u6s/video.html
I do drive them crazy a lot. 😂😬 Everybody deserves a break now and then.
Do you know if you can add a second receiver to run off one transmitter?
You can add unlimited packs with this System.
THNKS CLEVAR I LIKE HAW YOU ESPLEND EAZY WEY
👍🏻
Do you have body pack and handheld standing by at every ceremony? Or only if they specify ahead of time? I try to have both in case someone wants to speak and they spring it on me at the last minute. Also in case of failure of lapel mic
I always have a hand held mic available, but almost never use it. Couples don’t want it in there photos or video. I haven’t had a mic failure yet. 🤞🏻
Great content as always 😊 quick question feedback feature only works if mic is directly connected to ev speaker or it can also work if u connect speakers to dj system as well
Any mic that it “hears” it will mute that frequency. Don’t quote me but I believe that’s how it works.
To clearify if mic is connected to live mixer or dj controllers mic input
@@goldensounddj5606 Yes. It will work even if the mic is not directly plugged in to the speaker.
Anti-feedback suppression is a technology used in speakers to prevent unwanted feedback or howling sounds caused by the microphone picking up sounds from the speaker. Here's how it works:
1. The speaker sends out an audio signal to the microphone.
2. The microphone picks up the audio signal and sends it back to the speaker.
3. The speaker then amplifies the signal and sends it back to the microphone, creating a loop.
4. Anti-feedback suppression technology detects this loop and applies a filter to the audio signal to prevent the feedback from occurring.
5. The filter can be a notch filter, which cuts out a specific frequency, or a dynamic filter, which reduces the gain of the signal.
6. The filter is applied in real-time and adjusts automatically as the sound changes.
Thanx Rachel u think everse will be good for booth monitor to put in good use aside from it main purpose
Im more of a rcf fan i use 745”s and 710s
How big crowd can the EV 8 cater to, what would you say? Can it cover an outdoor event with 150-200 people?
The number of people in attendance is only one consideration when selecting a speaker.
It depends on the TYPE OF EVENT you’re doing.
It depends on HOW DENSELY PACKED the people are going to be.
It depends on your SOUND OBJECTIVE (how you want to fill the space).
It depends on HOW LARGE the room/dance floor is.
It depends on HOW LOUD you need to be at the farthest point in the room.
It depends on the UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS of the venue/room.
It depends on your CLIENT’S EXPECTATIONS (think student prom vs corporate picnic; do they want or need to to be crushed by sound?)
It depends on INDOOR/OUTDOOR considerations (sound moves differently with and without walls).
It depends on your knowledge of PROPER GAIN STRUCTURE and knowledge of BUILT IN FEATURES of your speakers.
It depends on what your speakers are realistically DESIGNED FOR/CAPABLE OF.
Maybe some other things I’m forgetting too.
can it accept 2 XLR L/R channels from a denon prime/ pioneer xdj unit? i only see 1 XLR with a 48 volt phantom power and a 2nd for instruments. i can't find much info online. in short what im asking can the 2 XLR inputs be used at the same time as a dedicated left and right main in?
Here is the manual that will describe in detail the available connections. In short you absolutely can plug to XLR inputs into the EVERSE.

Hi! What microphone do you use for the bride & groom during vows? Love your videos TY!
I use the Electro-Voice RE3 for my ceremony mic. Thanks so much!
@@DJRachelLynch Do you mic the groom also? That's only one mic. I would need a second lapel mic for vows.
Thank you!

@DJRachelLynch Thank you so much for answering questions! I noticed you placing the RE3 Mic/BodyPack on the officiant binder - are still using this single mic method? So convenient!
@@LEVIJmusicYes. I am. It works great.
Rachel, do you still have your Everse 8 and still use them and how are they holding up and are the batteries still holding charge?
I use them every single event. They are in perfect condition. 🙂
