This was right at the beginning of when reggae gradually blew up here in America in certain scenes.
Oh would to see react to Marcia Griffith,one of Marley’s I Threes back up singers. While they all 3 have exceptional solo projects, Marcia is my fave! I fell in love with her “Sweet Bitter Love” which a later found out was a cover sang by both Aretha and Robert Flack. Never found a live performance of that song by her, but have found live performances of “Steppin Out of Babylon”
