    This is a video showing how to replace the rear brakes on a 1984 Honda Atc 200es but applies to many other Atv and Atc models. I Surprised a good buddy with some breaks for his 3wheeler so i could help him not crash when he needs to stop unexpectedly. But when i opened up the cases i find a broken to pieces rear brake drum. Luckily I had a extra one i could throw on with a set of brand used brakes. If this video helped you out at all then help me out by hitting the Like & Subscribe buttons. Cheers

    I'm dealing with the same problem. I picked up a 1984 big red. Needs work but runs great.

    Great video! Doing this now. I had the same problem, pads fell off the shoes. Luckily my drum is good. BUT...Some previous owner WELDED the part with the wheel studs to the axle! Going to have to get the new shoes on without removing this piece. Anyway, thx!

    I got my Honda atc200 when I was 10 or 11. Im 21 now and it's never let me down or stranded. And its also never had brakes since I've owned it. I really want to get all new brakes and brake components so I can ride a bit harder

      Thats awesome man. Ive been collecting them now for a few years and barely had brakes on most but when you do have them its a game changer 👌

    What is the best way to pull the brake drum off?

    • @AndrewsAction
      @AndrewsAction  Před 7 měsíci

      Its not an easy job but with some patience, heat, some rust penetrating oil (Pb Blaster* Works) and pry bars leveraging left side to ride side then top to bottom and repeat until its free. Hope this helps 👍
