Lady wash mine

The Ladywash Mine, situated above the village of Eyam, is a mixed ore mine which exploited the Hucklow edge veins until its closure in 1979. Much of the main buildings are still intact and the shaft, although grid sealed and fenced off, can be clearly seen. Sad to see that the wire thief’s have been at this place 😞
