- I have always wanted to visit here, but never returned as I was told it had been covered by a cliff fall. Why do people lie HA!!! This is the Alum works tunnels which came out at an old Dock nearly 200 years ago.
This was a fun little video to make and I hope you enjoy it. - Zábava
Great video, thanks for risking the tide to go to the tunnel 👍
This is epic. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work.
Thanks mate
Thank you for showing us a part of the UK we would never get to see. I found this video fascinating. Don't pay any attention to the negative comments. The coastline clearly has appropriate warning signs and you also very clearly explained the dangers. You also very responsibly put on a safety helmet emphasising the importance of being sensible beneath the rock face. I hope you get A LOT of attention! After all that's the point of CZcams right? Keep going mate, your personality is easy on my nervous system and your choice of content is great! I'm now subscribed! THANX!!!!
Beautiful Staithes! Yes you have to be careful of falling rocks on the beach, someone tragically was killed on the beach a few years ago. never seen anything like those iron balls, they are amazing. Stunning drone footage. Well done for reaching the tunnel & showing us inside although it was very sketchy in places! Amazing tunnel.Enjoyed this video Peter thank you! 😊👍
Very interesting video
Nice one Peter, you got farther than I did! 👍
That was dead interesting Peter I love old stuff like that, there's an old tunnel like this in Seaton Sluice in the little harbor with a door on that went to an old bottle factory love to get in it
that bit of wood in the rock you found is jet (fossilised monkey puzzle tree)
Brilliant really interesting. The sandstone blocks are beautifully made and the diagonal chisel marks are decorative. The Bolby works accessable from thd top of the cliff's have much bigger blocks and look like something the inkas may have constructed in South America.
Grill video. Thanks
I have a friend working on a trawler in the Arctic, he brought me some of those iron balls they cought in the trawl, they now serve as cool looking paperweights with a story 😊
Les anglais construisent de jolie tunnel avec des pierres bien taillés 👍
The ropes down are OK pal but make sure you check and double check them when using them . because some complete lunatics or half Witt's like to cut them nearly through then leave them for us anglers or the likes of your self to use . I have no idea why anyone would want to do this but they do . another great video by the way . if you go down hummersea and walk towards boulby there is an area completely full of them "cannon balls" . keep the vids coming
Also if you are one of the lads that was involved in the rescue at ayton. Very well done as soon as I heard the story of the missing lad on the news in that area the first place I thought of was the tunnel . I don't see why anyone would be annoyed by this if this was you you deserve a medal this was the exact area the emergency services should have been looking.
Thanks buddy, I appreciate the info. I didn't do the ropes... Yes it was me that found the explorer. Glad I could help give his family closure, even though it cost me a few friends for doing so.
❤💥
I really don't think there's a problem posting this video unless the people on the beach happen to notice themselves otherwise great video
Cool vid 😎
You should collect the iron balls and sell them as paperweights
Not a bad idea hahaha
Great video. You shaved your beard off! I hardly recognised you! Sorry to hear you had idiots pulling you down.
Thank you. 😂Yes, I am not going to lie I was gutted when the shaver touched it. Instant regret 😂
This video should be taken down, you're showing people going on to beaches! What if a person, after seeing this, goes to the beach, wonders what is across the water, builds a boat, goes across, sees Europe, decides to come back, build a fleet of warships then goes back and invades, killing millions of people? It will be your fault!!!!!!! People try loads of tactics to stop channels, water off a duck's back :). Loovely drone shots :). Must have been fun working in at that dock, dodging falling rocks constantly, it's like a continuous rain around there. Nice to finally see inside, it's it's height above the beach and inaccessibility that has preserved it as well as it has been.
What? I totally disagree. This guy demonstrated a responsible attitude to exploring the coastline.
There is no such thing as beaches, you mustn't believe those things you see on youtube. Please stay indoors and eat glue!
Agree about the preservation. This place seems so gut off that no vandals ever come there.
@@BasilSimon it’s a joke, read the whole comment ;)
