Loved the walkthru! But like many people, you need to be careful when you add/replace units on the board. You took off a German fighter to add the 3 new ones, but only added the 3 new chips. Germany lost the build of one fighter due to that.
Hey GH great German 1st turn move, a little unfortunate with Southern France rolls with one tank left. Usually the route I take as well with the Germans in turn one. It makes the UK player think next turn is a possible Sea Lion.
I usually don’t like watching people roll dice but listening to how your mind works and identifying with it was fun. The shaky camera is an issue though while rolling dice. I feel a bit dizzy after watching this.
I like the plane buy, should be scary for the allied fleets... me I buy a destroyer or at least a sub G1 but it is really more felxoble with planes (but the UK or US at war will buy a sub if I have no DD?).
I don’t understand the defensive purchase of 30 ipc with an aggressor like Germany. I prioritize Soviet Union over Africa. 8 turns so let’s see what happens.
May we actually define a fighter plane as a purely "defensive" unit? Germany is going to project its force both in the North Sea and in the Mediterranean area as well, thanks to its powerful Luftwaffe. You can buy a mixed infantry - artillery units force on the second turn and deploy them in Poland on the third one, ready to attack Russia on the fourth, supported by tons of planes of every kind (if you skip Sea Lion of course). Look man, Young Grasshopper puts together a tournament, right? I’ve played this game since 1st edition. I’m simply surprised that after all the time this game is out that people don’t put together winning strategies based on numbers. I would be interested in playing but...no point...they aren’t playing AAA they’re playing house rule games. So yes I’ll say fighters are defensive purchase
@@ussmisub2416 the main goal of these videos is showing tournament game mechanics. YG is not selling us "winning strategies ". I do not care if he is not the best player around (even if he is better than he thinks). What he does for the player community is amazing. Unfortunately, I am not that young anymore and hence I played Classic A&A dozens of times at the beginning of the Nineties, then all the versions that followed (even some interesting clones like World at war by Xeno) Anyway, when I sit around the table, having fun, giving eveything I got, sharing good time with old friends, bringing new ideas and strategies, those are my concept of "winning a game". If I loose, no problem, I am going to play better next time. And fighter planes, like every weapon, may be used in offensive or defensive roles (some are better in a stance of course but, you know, no Germany player has ever conquered Moscow sending panzers alone, not supported by infantry and planes). Have a great time playing this amazing game, mate!
This is my last comment because it’s a waste of time. In rebuttal, I don’t see this helping the AAA community as a whole. This is wasted time and resources that could be applied to being better at the game, the way it is designed to be played by the masses. In closing, these tournaments are for a small circle of players, don’t confuse this tournament content as strategy. At best it’s merely entertainment onthat point we agree.

I always shake my head when someone like you says "it’s a waste of time and resources" as if it were yours to delegate... the truth is, it’s my time and my resources to do what I wish with it, not yours.
