Love the heavy transport buy. Transports capacity wins games

First off thank you for this wonderful game mode and this well though out solo game to show how your TE can be played. Also thank you for reading all the comments its great to be able to get a dialogue going. Now to the strategy..... I usually put the infantry from Syria down to Trans Jordan as it helps defend an actual territory that yields I.P.Cs as well as protect the canal and maybe even get to Cairo to defend in time. Not a big move but one I think is worth taking. as for U.S.A very good turn! The one problem I still have with the new way this game is played is that with the newly merged pacific the mainland is very treacherous for japan. I think if there was a rule to nerf Russia's involvement it would be better. I have to ideas: 1 make it so Russia can only enter Chinese territory if it is under Japanese control (maybe this looses affect on round 3?) This would make it so the only way Russia could help stop the china token is by sending their few and precious planes up to amur to help stop the token from falling. 2 you could also make it so that if Russia ever moves into china they immediately void the defense treaty between Mongolia *no matter where they entered* I think this idea puts a good enough nerf to Russian involvement in china but still makes it possible if they are willing to sacrifice a little. What are your thoughts? Anyone else who reads this feel free to add on.

With the USA going mostly Atlantic Japan can get the US island token on turn 3 or 4 at the latest. All they need to do is wipe the weak US fleet in Hawaii and by building a carrier outside Japan and stacking Hawaii they can swap fighters and bring far too much for the US to deal with given the Atlantic purchase. Taking the islands also forces the US into buying pacific which is a problem when London is threatened.

Really like these tournament rules.I admire how you restrained yourself from changing too many OOB rules.
A couple of UK bonus questions.
1st,Does UKE get 3 or 5ipcs for their bonuses?
2nd For outer perimeter bonus,do allies need to control Solamans,New Britain and E.NewGuinei with a UKP land unit on any Dutch Island?
Lastly,Is the axis economy production victory token 140 or 144 ipcs?

I still think the Pacific Island Tokens are the hardest in the game to go for. I think they are tokens where they'd only be lost if you are not paying attention. It's not in Japan's best interest to go for the Pacific token because as you've said before a Rich Japan is a sucessful Japan. Taking Pacific islands does not increase their income, only taking Hawaii would increase their income and that means directly taking on the United States. Out of all the objectives that Japan can go for. The pacific islands has to be the hardest and most inconvenient to go for. Calcutta and China , and Sydney all seem easier to go for. The US only needs a minimum amount of investment to hold off a Japanese island hopping campaign and you can pretty easily see it coming.

Thanks for the video. I agree that for the US it's all about logistics and that it would be unwise for Japan to bring the US into the war on turn 2. That being said, your placing of the US fleet in the Hawaii sea zone is very tempting given the Japanese positioning. The Japanese could easily wipe out the Hawaii fleet with a loss of about 6 hits (1 Battlehip hit, 2 destroyers, 1 sub, 2 planes) which would be more than enough to fend off a counter attack with a sub and a bomber. If the US did not scramble it would be even worse. That could leave the US islands vulnerable.

I agree. They are vulnerable since the US built Atlantic transports.

I dońt think the German fighters can land properly when they want to attack the French destroyer. Other then that, great video again. Cańnot wait for turn 2.

If UK PACIFIC attacks Japan on UKP 3. UKP and Japan is at war, but not USA right?
If Japan then attacks a Dutch Island with a UKP unit on J3. When will the US join the war? At the beginning or end of us3?

Same as oob rules, USA stays out of the war in both your examples.
