And mainly it must have been something personal outside of him not shaking his hand funny how Michael Jordan and Joe Dumars were also friends Jordan has complimented Joe Dumars saying that he was one of the best defenders that he had to go against

The walkoff is an excuse used by the nba to cover up what really happened.
The league didn’t want Isiah because they didn’t want anyone using the stage of the Olympics for political purposes. Isiah was one of if not the most politically active nba players of his time especially around social and racial justice.

Isiah college coach also became buddy-buddy with MJ.

So the dream team selection committee kept isiah off the team, because they wanted Jordan, more than they wanted Isiah.

Isaiah had to look at his coach for the next two years, who was buddy buddy with the one (MJ), who kept him off the Olympic team.

Players don't even do that no more the shaking of the hands it's more like you take a loss and you keep it moving but you don't hear them complaining

I wonder what was going through Isaiah mind at the time after of the Olympic team Chuck Daly had to come back to his normal job coaching for Isaiah

Joe Dumars wasn’t on the 1992 Dream Team roster, Rich. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

Joe was an alternate, ahead of Isiah.

If Isaiah would have played Pippen would not have played.

Isiah hadn’t made All nba since 1987. Pippen was the least deserving in 1991 when team selected, he never made all nba until 1992, or 2 all star teams.

The Walkoff was ALL Laimbeer though. MJ has been holding it against Isiah all these years, but Laimbeer admitted it in the Bad Boys 30-for-30...which I'm sure MJ didn't watch. I mean, the NBA hated the Pistons, created a rule to strip them of their edge, just for MJ to get even bigger.
But he had no issue with Dumars, who also walked off, and Daly, who didn't try to stop them as coach. Only the captain who DIDN'T come up with the idea, and was essentially outvoted by the team to walkoff.

Oh well Isiah Thomas shouldn't have froze Jordan out in the 1985 All-star game. Then he disrespected Jordan by not shaking hands.

All I have to say is that Michael Jordan didn’t deserve that handshake. You can not disrespect the champions that you are about to dethrone . How were you expecting a passing of the torch when you are being disrespectful ?
