not too keen on Foxwell products. twice i bought a foxwell scanner and neither one would work properly with the 992. i had to return them.
im thinking of the Autel MaxiCOM MK808S-TS . i have a 992 and 982.
Interesting I never had issues with them. Even resetting airbag lights
I took my bmw to the dealer for rear brake pads $650. I bought the front brake pads and sensor for $170 and replaced them myself as well as resetting the light. If you can work on your car yourself and have the time, you would save a tone of money on maintenance.
That’s how I can afford mine.

I thought the disassembly was a farce and would overdramatically include removing the seats and steering wheel just to change the oil. Now I’m dissuaded from 991+.

I used to do that crap... then I bought a Plaid... 1000hp, the best software in automotive history and ZERO maintenance. I thought I would miss the sound, but I don't.
I never could understand why people buy Porsches.. they nickel and dime their customers sooooo bad. But I guess everyone has a love.
