NAGALAND STRONGMAN DEADLIFT COMPETITION | Nagaland Fitness & Strongman Association

The first weight class deadlift competition organised my Nagaland Strongman & Fitness Association witnessed a house packed event with fitness lovers across Nagaland cheering for the competitors from different gyms.
Altogether 38 participants from 13 different gyms across Nagaland took part. In the weight class
~ 60 kg the champion title was awarded to Mr.Zhokventi Tsongs of Kayina gym and the runners up Mr.Dapa Domeh of Zumu gym Kohima
~ 70 kg first Mr.Zhopao Movi with a stunning lift of 190 kg and the runners up Mr.Vecibu Rhakho
~ 80 category the Current National Gold medalist and the defending CrossFit champion of Nagaland Mr. Vizobilie Punyu of Flex Appeal gym Kohima lifted 240 kg to secure first position while
the runners up Mr. Mukesh Kumar Das of Universal gym, dimapur lifted 200 kg.
~ 90 kg category Mr. Kekhriesetuo Mechűlho of Ciekhan Fitness gym Kohima lifted a whopping 240 kg to set an easy win while runners-up Mr.Pelesetso Khate of The Home Gym, Dimapur lifted 220 kg in his final attempt.
~ 100kg category the lone lifter and SuperStar Nagaland Wrestling Champion Mr. Venuzo Dawhuo of Chisel gym Kohima lifted 245 kg. The 100+ kg category witnessed breathtaking lift by the Champion Mr. Tsuknungakum Jamir of Flex Appeal gym who set the highest record of the event lifting 250kg to win the champion title while young Star Kevidi Linyű AKA 'Panda' from Amplified gym, Kohima just at 16 years of age lifted 225 kg.
The best lifter title was awarded to upcoming star Mr.Zhopa Movi of Zumu Gym, Kohima
