This video is re-upload of my LIVESTREAM streamed 2 days ago. Today I informed people: "SO BECAUSE LOT OF PEOPLE UNGRATEFULLY CONSTANTLY POSTING EXTREMELY STUPID ANGRY ATTACKING COMMENTS UNDER MY LIVESTREAM, CALLING ME FU***NG B!TCH AND EVEN SOME MORON WANT TO TAKE GUN AT ME I TOOK THAT VIDEO DOWN. I TOOK LEGAL ACTIONS ALREADY! THOSE WHO WANTED TO LEARN HOW TO BUILD A HACKINTOSH IN 2022 THE NEW WAY CAN SAY "THANKS" TO THOSE ID!OTS. I INVESTED INTO MY FREE HELP TO YOU INSANE AMOUNT OF MONEY, EFFORT, KNOWLEDGE, TIME... SO YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR MY FREE VIDEO RESOURCES WHCH YOU ALL USED AND CONSTANTLY SUCKING INFORMATIONS FROM ME! IN SOME TIME LOT OF YOU WILL BE BUILDING HACKINTOSHES THE NEW WAY, SO REMEMBER WHO CAME WITH THIS SOLUTION FIRST LOT OF YEARS AGO! IT WAS ME!
But then huge wave of support and extremely nice and kind comments risen up! I was so surprised. I really didn't expect so much support from kind people. So I decided to re-upload this livestream back, so those kind people will not be punished by those angry attackers.
I DIDN'T EXPECT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD THIS VIDEO AFTER I STREAMED IT, SO THIS RE-UPLOAD IS NOT SO GOOD IN QUALITY AS WAS THE ORIGINAL. SO SORRY FOR THAT, BUT THAT'S NOT MY FAULT.

Fantastic, thank you! Stay strong! 💪
Morgonaut, it is always a pleasure to see you release new content. The 2 key points I took away are that (1) the hardware selection still matters even with the type 1 hypervisor (2) Proxmox can restore previously built machines very easily. What was less clear to me were the specific steps required to create a new virtual Mac machine from scratch rather than restoring a pre-existing one. Perhaps this could be a topic for a future video. Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise.
no, it can run almost on any hardware. But of course some hardware is better than the other. That's why I recommend what I recommend on this video description. Because I recommend strictly only components I personally tested and verified!
Hi, yes this is not clear, i think the initial image is also built using opencore. Can someone please confirm this ?
@Jeff G - if you would bother to watch and listen this stream you would know I explained that
You just copy a macos install iso file to proxmox and boot from the opencore iso (opencore is required to run macos and is a lot more than just a bootloader!) then just select to boot the macos installer iso just like a real mac. Proxmox is great free software, I even cloned my macbook pro to an external usb3 ssd disk and loaded it in Proxmox as a direct attached physical disk (server is an old 2013 Dell 5610 dual E5680v2 20core/40 thread 64GB RAM workstation with a Nvidia GTX680 and GTX660 GPUs) and booted 1st time. The key takeaway is FREE enterprise grade virtualization from Proxmox (Qemu/KVM hypervisor) brings a lot to the table. There are many step by step guides out there on how to do it.
@@dougietamson thanks for this info... !!
I've been toying with the idea of creating my own homelab and starting to learn bare metal virtualization. Thanks to you, I'm encouraged to take my first steps on it. It will be really helpful since I do a lot of work on color grading, video postproduction, etc.
Thank you for your free videos. I once had the burden of maintaining hackintoshes and they're a pain in the a$$, so I really appreciate your wisdom.

I've watched live stream and learned 2 things. ProxMox is good virtualization solution and Morgonaut has a good music taste. We need more lessons for installing from zero. Also we need playlist.

Hello, I tried to follow your installation unfortunately in the video we can not read the entries on the terminal, the resolution is insufficient, would you have a solution?
Thank you for your work.
Same issue here. Sorry if I missed anything for how to actually getting it work. I learned one thing though, Promox and virtualized windows works better than native... Teresa you are great person, excellent presenter and interesting in creating new ideas. You are helping thousands and thousands of people around the world who can not afford to buy original MacOs computer. People would love to own original computer and believe me one day they do own it. But to taste that quality you are like a bridge. You actually promote MacOS and help Apple to gain new customers despite they will be able to buy sometime in future. You should be proud on your work, your way of content creating. You are just amazing. Keep doing this kind of work and develop some thicker skin for negative people. There will be always those kind of people regardless if this is your video, my or from very very famous star. They feed with negativity and they search for people which will react and give them satisfaction if you react to them. No reaction from your side and they will leave you alone. Just keep going and going your way. We belive in you!
@Sasa Sanjic - oh my Lord, you took my breath away Sasa with probably greatest comment I ever get. Thanks God there are still some people like you 💜 and thanks to you.
@@MorgonautHackintosh Sasa is dead-on correct. I have old old macs. I cannot affort to buy new hardware for a long long while, so I am forced into the Hackintosh realm with the spare PCs I have laying around.... And your Proxmox solution makes amazing sense. Thicken your skin, and gather your resolve - we need you and your great content!!! Happy Valentines Days, too (at least in USA)
Happy it is online. Since i saw your first video i undestood what i have to do, but at last i can’t load macOS without a efi partitino with opencore. This fact simply remains a mistery. I will not ask you for that, it is you work. I am only happy this video is online, it so nice 😀
This is such awesome information for the hackintosh landscape!! Cant wait for more videos on “the new way”

The most what I am interested in is how to configure Proxmox the wise way with multi system parallel setup. So each operating system can use very wisely the hardware directly not interfering with one another. Good you published the vid again! We Are With YOU, Teresa!

Creating virtual machines on a Proxmox host is something I understand well enough. What I did not get from this video is how to configure the use of a single keyboard/mouse to control all three virtual machines seamlessly, while moving files/folders across three different operating systems, using three different video displays. I'm aware that "Synergy", "Barrier", "ShareMouse", "across", and "Logitech Options" are some programs that might be able to do this. Could you tell us which (if any) of those products you used - which one works well?
get yourself a cheap usb kvm. mine can control 4 devices on 4 computers. 18 bucks on amazon.
Me encantan tus videos!!! Saludos desde Málaga! Keep up the good content, work!!!
Morgonaut ur the best ... after watching ur made hackintosh 4years ago....now new way 2023 for my new PC
pienso lo mismo, por eso estoy aca
Thank you so much for all that you do! Very excited to try this new way and want to try the triple boot like you showed in the last video. This is all new to me so hoping I can figure it all out LOL....Time to study!!! THANK YOU!!!!
you're welcome Jeff
wow, this video was amazing to sit and watch. thanks for all the information and the new way to think!
Glad you enjoyed it
I was very excited for this ❤️
@Morgonaut Thank you for putting so much time and effort into sharing your knowledge and helping others! I found that video insightful and actually entertaining as well. I totally agree that it's a hassle to maintain the "old way". A few days ago I upgraded to the latest OC version, which was a bit of a pain. But I am not yet sure whether I dare to upgrade from Big Sur to Monterey now due to potential incompatibilities.
So, the new way is indeed very intriguing to me. For the reasons you explained, you did not show how to install a MacOS from scratch. But you were right. There are good descriptions out there in the internet and I had a new Monterey VM running on Proxmox in a short time. But unfortunately, the "new way" isn't that easy and straightforward for me as I had hoped. Setting up GPU passthrough with my Radeon RX 460/560 on my mainstream Asrock board (with i7 9700k) was not successful yet and currently I am really stuck.
And without it, video performance is simply not good enough to use it as my desktop computer. Let's see whether I can find a solution. By the way, this is only a comment based on my personal experience, not a request for any troubleshooting or so.
"Setting up GPU passthrough with my Radeon RX 460/560 on my mainstream Asrock board (with i7 9700k) was not successful yet and currently I am really stuck." - I configure daily whole servers from scratch in just 10 minutes including passthrough of anything. You can't expect be as good as me when I have decades of experience right? :)
@@MorgonautHackintosh No, I am not expecting to be as good as you in this domain. But I am not a dummy either. I will keep researching and trying. What I am basically saying here is, that there can be quite some pitfalls also for the „new way“.
once you learn the principle it will stay such forever for any future builds unlike the stupid old way based on clover or opencore where everything configuration wise is different with each build!
!!!!!!!!!!also to move proxmox installation to any other completely different computer is super easy and just few mintes of time. To move clover or opencore installation to completely different build means again start from scratch!!!!!!!!!!
@@MorgonautHackintosh I agree. And actually I have a bit of experience with another Proxmox node hosting e.g. a Debian Linux with some smart home stuff, a Kali Linux, … But GPU passthrough is a new thing for me. From reading in a Proxmox forum I got the impression that some issues with that were probably introduced with a more recent kernel version. Which Proxmox/kernel version are you currently relying on? Since it was a fresh install for me, I simply took the latest stable version.
I'm so glad you reconsidered...
Funk is life, I agree!!!
🎸
Hi Morgonaut, I just subscribed, i've been following your videos for quite sometime and today i subscribed, thank you for all the videos you created for all us!
@LéMAO - you're welcome
Funny. I use those exact same USB drives for my hackintosh too.
Had success with the old method. Excited to try the new method on new hardware (5600x / 6600 xt). Cheers for the video!
Specifically those cards support multiple pass-through on a single card? Is there something specific I should be looking for as a feature? In the proxmox documentation I am seeing vGPU, and GVT-g. The idea being getting a hold of a less expensive card to mess around with. Thanks for the great information!
It' finally back.
Good for you for doing what you do best and flipping the haters off .
I already have this setup but with basic debian and single gpu passthrough, however I'm going to watch this entirely because of the tips and tricks you drop.
Respect !
What type off Ram Dimms did you use?
??? you can use any memory you want, you can also boot from any disk you want. Why the F people still expect some limitations? Because they are coming from the old way where there is MANY limitations.
Thanks very much Theresa great video and very helpful. I will be trying this out when my hardware arrives
Glad it was helpful

I deleted my comment because I don't want to offend you .... I really like your work. Greetings from Bulgaria :)
Unless you show specific commands you've used, and what someone needs to be doing, your examples aren't showing people anything other than YOU can do this.
You need to be very specific; what does one need to insert into the kernel, how does one determine IOMMU groups, how does one get GPU passthrough with all the commands. You skimmed over it without telling anyone what it was they needed to do.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy your videos, but until you delve into what needs to be done, and with detail, no one will be able to do what you've done.
so show it in your video and your youtube channel will be gone in a moment. I explained reasons in this livestream!
@@MorgonautHackintosh Thanks for the video, excellent work and showcase - but - do "they" really hunt down videos about passthrough methods for GFX cards in ProxMox VMs?? The trouble is - for most of us using macos for content creation successful passthrough is an absolute must. There is no use for macos without acceleration. And as you probably experienced yourself in your adventures with proxmox - current methods of passthrough for gfx (and then thunderbolt) is the most time consuming and biggest problem of all hypervisors out there. 80-90% of macos compatible ATI cards will have major issues booting to VM with passthrough, and only tiny number of cases can be helped with vendor-reset module. There is almost no information available on the subject in english language, as most proxmox users passthrough nvidia to windows rather than ATI to macos. So we need that kind of video. This is the "make or break" for a wide adoption of your Margonaut's New Method. All of us need help with passthrough methods specifically. I've tried proxmox twice, second time after your video, and I'm still stuck with a 580 and Radeon VII that just won't reset correctly for VM boot. I get maybe 1 successful boot in 10 to Monterey on a good day. And I realise each case will be different and by now I also know it can be anything - kernel version, bios version, rom version, card version and that may never work for either of my cards. But we need at least a good - "best case scenario guide" - from someone who knows hypervisors well - cards to avoid, cards to buy, kernel modules to add, kernel modules to remove for common scenarios, do we need those rom dumps or not, and so on, so forth.
You have a herd to lead, be the shepherd Margs.
@Von Reagan - no, nobody will "hunt down videos about passthrough methods for GFX cards in ProxMox VMs", I never said that! But try to make your own videos how to make a hackintosh like this = how to step by step macos and you can count how many days will your youtube channel survive until it's gonna be deleted!!!!!! I answered here several times I will show how to Win/Lin on my 1st youtube channel so you can learn from it, but you can't expect I will risk my YT channel just because you want something from me and for free so you can just benefit from it and save lot of money right???
@@MorgonautHackintosh Ah.. I understand now - it cannot be revolving around hackintoshes (for obvious reasons)... I'm in similar boat to you - I already have 2 x MacPros, M1 mini and two MBPs, the proxmox for me however is a gateway to insane disk speeds thanks to raidz on nvme's and faster encoding thanks to PC graphics cards, as in - a fix for something that we'll never get from apple but I keep forgetting that for most people hackintoshes are free alternative which obviously cannot be freely discussed.
Allow me to ask a question that I got stuck on but it might be very easy for you to answer - if I were to provide separate primary graphics card to proxmox and dedicate secondary card to VM and blacklist it in vfio and modules - in your experience will the secondary card still suffer from the same reset bugs that usually prevent booting when it's the only card in the system? As in - will I really have to keep buying cards until I find one that doesn't suffer from reset issues?
@Von Reagan - you don't need any GPU for proxmox at all. You saw in my livestream I used only single gpu too
Thank you for the free knowledge, you are such a great person ♡♡.

@user-ci6mu8ho7x - I'm glad my videos helped you. But believe me if I would share "all I know" as you wrote we would spend rest of our lives on it 😇 Best thanks would be if you share my videos on forums/socials so it can help to more people and that will in return help to me to produce for you more quality content and still for free. And/or if you are really grateful for my help you can click under my video on the THANKS button, that will again help me keep producing for you useful content for free. Or you can even "buy me a beer" here: donate.stripe.com/14k29O62BbHG2QM288
Will do what ever I can@@MorgonautHackintosh
Dear Teresa, I'm fortunate to have run across your videos on this topic. Having worked with VMware "bare metal" hypervisors in professional hosting centers, I've been a huge advocate of the technology. I hadn't really thought much about using it to fire up a hackintosh here at home until I ran across your channel . . even better that triple OS workstation of yours, inspiring!
Anyway, thanks for your time putting out this content, and giving my imagination a much needed kick in the butt :)))
@AlphaVlk - Thanks God finally someone grateful!!!!! 💜 I'm glad my video helped you. Excellent …..time well spent 👍🏽!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Love your content. Been out of the Hackintosh game for a while because it just got to be too much with keeping them updated and properly configured. Because of you I will jump back in but this time, I will only do it the "easy way."
Welcome back
The new way things really opened my eyes. Thanks
you're welcome.I'm glad I can help
thankyou for this :)...i was always facking around with dual boots windows and linux but now i can just use my system if i was in cyber punk city hehe
Glad I could help!
thanks for putting back online 🙇♀️ i’ll share this knowledge, just wondering may I keep a offline backup, only for my own use, and of coz i will credit and share this video link for sharing
Woohooom its back again.
Thanks to Morgonaut for standing up against haters.
Thanks for bringing it up again.
Btw. i cant read the terminal inputs or the changes etc.
Great video, thanks for your efforts sharing your experience. I am waiting for how to share one mouse and kbd over the vms. This is the only thing that i still dont understand so far..
it can be achieved multiple ways, I will show it in some next video
Thank you so much for this amazing video.
Do you think, this setup is better than a Mac Studio or not?
you're welcome. Every solution has it's pros and cons. Mac Studio will not give you the options the new way offers and same the other way. So it depends what you wanna achieve.
I came from the other video when 3 os starting in the same computer. That hardware is not cheap. I remember trying hackintosh in 2007 because I cannot afford an original mac desktop. This video open new possibilities to try. I like to do music production and also work in IT dev.
@davetelekom443 - what are you talking about? What is not cheap? You can run my "New Way" even on $50 computer! You should better watch my videos and listen to valuable informations there.
@@MorgonautHackintoshJust your motheboard is $659 and the cpu is $359. Then do a video on a $50 computer.
@davetelekom443 - OMG as I said in my videos XXX times you can use almost ANY motherboard so even $50 one! Don't care what I used, I used what I had lying around! And I already made video about $50 computer!
awesome broadcasting skills, also thanks for the info!
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you Adam
Great video! Loved it. Will this work on Core i5-2400 and Msi 720 GT 1 Gb ddr3?
Oh my god... When I think about youtubers who are proud to show their "setup". God, they have never seen yours, they are all beaten to death. I guess I have more screens than you, but not sure... Great desk, I'm working to have the same.
Cheers ! Desperados, here.
@idubzh243 - very well said, thumbs up 👍 😇
@@MorgonautHackintosh My favourite part is you saying, "watch this, it's not connected to anything". Just a paint you could hang on a wall ; she's talking about the lastest MacPro (not M2), which is expansive and pretty useless.
Love !
I have real Macs, M1 and M2, MP31 & 51 ; don't accuse me to be anti Mac. But god, how I liked this segment : this too expansive Mac is nothing less than a paint.
Happy i saw this video going to start saving up for my new pc
@spragzpc1 - I'm glad you enjoyed my video. But don't forget I produced many videos like this already so good idea is to watch it.
@@MorgonautHackintosh I biuld a few hackingtosh in the past. gave up on hackingtosh when my son updated it by mistake & I had to reinstall the mac osX - lost hrs of work .This new method gives me way more confidence ✨️.
I will take time to watch more of your previous videos to get my head back into the game - but am sold on this new method 😎
@spragzpc1 - sure, smart people can see immediately how much better my "New Way" is compared to the stupid old way, so enjoy it
@@MorgonautHackintosh haha 😄 facts 💯
@spragzpc1 - yeah FACTS, thats what both my youtube channels are about. But don't forget, people don't want facts, they want to hear what they wanna hear, not facts!
Very sympathetic lady with a very interesting topic. I'm using proxmox for a few different things but I havent tried to install MacOS yet! Now I will..... Thanks alot Teresa!
thank you for kind comment Michael 💜

@👾BADDOGGY👾 - thank you for your kind comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Theresa, thank you for this video, I have learnt so much, pity I have RTX GPU.
Keep up the great work.
I'm glad you liked it, best way to say thanks to me is if you share my videos and/or by clicking the THANKS button under my video or buying me a beer via link in video description donate.stripe.com/14k29O62BbHG2QM288
wow, this lady is fire, so bold and clear... I like people like this.
I am a Mac User and I do not want to go to WIndows..... and never had a hackintosh, but now with the new macs no giving you option to upgrade parts, seems Hackintosh can be more necessary or popular.
Is she Italian?
“Windows - any idiot can do that”
Microsoft should use this as a slogan
@blaze1382 - yep 😎😇
Thanks for sharing 🙏
I will try with my i9 10850K on Tuf Gaming B560-Pluse Wifi.
you're welcome Shubhendra Patel
@@MorgonautHackintosh Have you tried Tuf Gaming B560-P Wifi Motherboard?
I'm wondering about inbuilt Bluetooth and Wifi will work or not 🤔
what I tested, verified and recommend I gave to people in my videos
Still watching your Vid. I was waiting! :). Great and absolutely mind blowing. Seen your hardware list.
Will the Mac 6,1 (12 core with 2x AMD FirePro D700 and 64GB of mem) be a good bare metal system for also running Windows 11 and Linux distro's?
I configured the new way multiple times on Mac Pro 5,1 - was running great, but I never had any 6,1 so I can't judge
@@MorgonautHackintosh That's fine. I will give it a try and let you know overtime! ;) Keep doing what you are doing. Slick stuff!
Happy to see this back up. People suck, Sorry you have to deal with that stuff.
From Peru 🇵🇪 ... i love you!!!

@Not_vdb005 - of course you can :) using the new way it will be no problem
@@MorgonautHackintosh the new way is what you explain in this video?
@Not_vdb005 - new way is what I showed in my last 3 videos
Thank you mam. It's nice to see
@Madisi uday Chitanya yadav - best thanks to me would be if you would "Buy me a beer" using link in video description 🍺
@@MorgonautHackintosh sure mam. But please wait for few days. I will receive some amount from my clients.you surly deserve a beer.
Thank you Teresa for sharing your intelligence and for your dedication. It's truly sad that you were victimized due to evil, jealousy, idiocy and ignorance. But your bravery in reposting for those of us that love and respect you is exactly why you have such overwhelming support for what you do. Please keep it up!!
@TMun E - yeah, it's sad there is so many morons. I would love to give to people much more, but those id!ots are the reason I can't do so. I can show only something and in limited way. So I will focus more on my other youtube channel. Thanks for your nice comment
