ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

According to the marvel encyclopedia the iron man armor is 6'5" and the dynamo is 6'10" so it looks to scale pretty well

This version of Crimson Dynamo was on the team when they were called the Soviet Super Soldiers, before it was the Winter Guard
I think he scales perfectly with Titanium Man and Marvel Legends
I picked this guy up at my local comic book store yesterday, and I think he looks fantastic! It's so nice to finally have an accurate Crimson Dynamo in my Winter Guard display!

The only problem I have with Marvel Select are the scale and articulation but for larger characters, they usually knock it out of the park and can be used in a ML display. Definitely picking this up as well as the Annihilus figures.

I got crimson Dynamo in from BBTS a few days ago and man, as a life long iron man fanatic this is the crimson Dynamo I have wanted in this scale forever, I have the build a figure, the 4” figure from iron man 2 line even the 1995 iron man figure line Dynamo but this looks so good standing next to Titanium man and facing off against ol shellhead, I couldn’t be happier to get this and hope he and Titanium man get updates in the legends line

I use that CD BAF as my Alpha Flight, BOX II Armor, with a kit bashed Madison Jeffries... Just remove those absurd shoulder pouldrons and hide the star on his chest.
8:02 yeah these heights are accurate. Titanium Man is meant to be a giant compared to Stark as he was a bodybuilder
That’s the thing there’s been a few versions of this armor for the Crimson Dynamo. Some closer to Iron Man‘s height, in fact one version Iron Man used it to evade the authorities during his egress, After Norman Osborne became the head of shield later hammer, but then there is also the bulkier taller version that fought the Hulk in one comic and Thor, plus Iron Man in another.
Looking at art from the cover of The Invincible Iron Man #22 the scale seems pretty good for Dynamo and Titanium and Iron Man. It's nearly perfect when you look at that issue's interior art showing Dynamo and Titanium fighting.
It's Awesome! I've been wanting this for years! Was really sad when Hasbro didn't make it.
Looking forward to mine coming in! I have the BAF one and a old Toy Biz undersized Animated one. I will move the BAF to my older Earth 777.

I got this Crimson Dynamo on preorder. I'm building a mixture of Soviet teams....i already have Titanium Man (Select) and DarkStar (Legends)....got the last two BAF pieces for Ursa Major on the way....just need this Dynamo to drop and pick up a Red Guardian.
Now if only Hasbro would give us an ML of this Crimson Dynamo iteration...

Great review! Marvel Select Crimson Dynamo looks amazing. I have a few preordered. But it’s not in scale with Marvel Legends nor is it articulated enough. Hope Hasbro makes a ML version, too.
Cap's shoulder straps are there for posting with the shield on his back. They are supposed to be the shield's straps. When he's wielding the shield, the straps should be removed from his shoulders. But thanks for the video and comparison pics.

Is anyone else having trouble with the left arm "gear" shaped armor piece being loose? I got one of Amazon and the left gear shoulder piece was super loose. Got a replacement and that one is almost as bad. WTF?

Vanguard is Darkstars brother, comes with a hammer and sickle, and wears a blue and white costume with a cape. You have Red Guardian.
Vanguard became red guardian in more recent comics. The red guardian figure we have is passable as the original red guardian but also as Vanguard.

They're different designs and completely different characters underneath the respective armors, so I think there's room for both in your display if you want to go that route

Crimson is by far the best dynamo.
I believe that the reason that Marvel Select figures don't have the same articulation as Marvel Legends is due to legal reasons.
