What is cool about 40k is that all people of the world can identify with the Empire. It kinda is a great thing that if you want to have representation of different races without breaking the lore you can. Speaking from a movie or a series perspective. And we all have a common enemy and nobody is feeling left out. Go Empire of Man!
Part of me thinks that perhaps the Emperor used his genetic engineering skills to resurrect famous heroes and warlords of old Earth as the physical components of his Primarchs, and the greater part of me really believes he was just a gigantic fanboy nerd and wanted to revive ancient warrior societies and cults he really liked. Case and point, the White Scars just being Space Mongolians.
I think that might be what humans were doing in the dark age of technology, perhaps alot of feral or feudal worlds were already this way before the age of strife, either they were set up for research, to preserve different genetic stocks and cultures, or maybe some crazy westworld thing where people can pay to become a viking or something It would explain most of the primarch homeworlds, I think there is something more going on with Fenris and Caliban though
Unfortunately, Abominable Intelligence has it's own thoughts. I appreciate the support though! I've been trying to see if there's a way to make it more smooth so that there's less flipping in between accents. Could you give me an example of when this happens? I want to narrow down the causes
