I like the Sisters of Battle, but when stories begin to put SOB on the same level as Astartes, I loose interest. Physically not close to equal, armor isn't equal, weapons nope... so exactly how do they stand toe to toe with Astartes?

A very good video but missing one small point I fear? (unless this has since been retconned out of the lore?) The reason that the Adepta Sororitas are the military arm of the Ecclesiarchy is that after the Reign of Blood and to try and ensure no-one could repeat Vandire's feat of becoming head of both the Administratum and the Ecclesiarchy the church was forbidden from having "men under arms" i.e. armed soldiers, but the archaic phrasing of it allowed the use of the Daughters, thus forming Adepta Sororitas
Im a fan of last stands. Every Battle Nun book ends that way. I don't know if its the authors or lore...they are less annoying to read about than the Black Templars.

They usually don't, and there isn't much lore that says they do. A dozen of them might have a chance, along with some Sisters of Silence
