Considering how over the top the WH40k universe is, it is literally the only completely believable art on the subject, possible with the exception of Astartes and some Fehervari's books. An achievement truly exceptional.

An irony of ironies it is that one of the Imperium's greatest weapons against Chaos are the one faction that matches them for sheer fanaticism. The veil between archenemies is thin indeed...

I think it's safe to say that the Sisters are the biggest asset mankind has. Not only are they the only ones consistently capable of invoking the power of the Emperor, they also most likely retrieved more data than the constantly warring factions of the Inquisition could hope to attain in millenia.
If they ever get augmentation, i would like to call them warrior priestest.
Since i believe they are the equivalent of warrior priest from warhammer fantasy.
Finding organizational information on the militant sisters ordo is extraordinarily difficult, and here you have presented it so thoroughly! This is definitely a video I will end up referring back to when trying to explain/understand how the Sisters actually organize in battle.

By the Emperor, this is by far and away the best 40k lore channel on the internet. Its tone, method and structure are so on the nose one would be forgiven for believing it is official content. Games Work Shop owes you a debt of gratitude for brining to life their product. Bravo!

Your video singlehandedly rekindled my reverence and utter admiration of the Sisterhood, both of how they are in the lore and as a base concept. It is such a captivating idea, a fully female branch of Imperial Faith, comprised of badass nuns of vastly different but invaluable skills, that they have one thing in common - utter devotion to the faith and wholly incorruptible spirit, few singular incidents notwithstanding. Beauty of faith intertwined with grace of womanhood. It enthralls me.

I'd love Oculus to do the siege of vraks in his sombre tone. I know others have done it but in his style like the pilgrim to terra. I think he could bring real gravitas to how many died there

Regardless they are all trained in the Schola to my knowledge so I guess any are battle sisters when they need to be
I believe that the sororitas are all of the sisters. Those sororitas who serve as soldiers are sisters of battle.
Isn't that just semantics ? Adeptus Astartes = Space Marines and Adepta Sororitas = Sisters of Battle

Splendidly balanced and presented. I especially felt the last part -- to pray one never needs them -- both touching and illuminating. Their defensive purpose means that, in lore, they fight when the enemy has passed the gates.

To clarify, this jab can apply to Both parties: Pres Trump took control of the presidency fairly handily, despite numerous scandals, and yet proved extremely incompetent once in the job. Meanwhile, the Democrats have been accused of stealing the presidency from a rightful second Trump term, and yet they managed to lose control of the legislature while doing so.
EDIT because i clearly botched the delivery:
-Trump was accused of usurping the presidency from the democratic process; he was not good at his campaigning (scandals, plus losing the popular vote) or his job as president.
-Democrats were accused of usurping the election process by "stealing votes; they did a terrible job of stealing the Senate/House in the process (ie they lost their majorities).

This isn't a monarchy, he has no "right" to anything without being voted in, which he wasn't. Just so you know, Trump also lost the popular vote to Hillary the first time. At first I thought them fielding a force of only a few million combat personal was severely crippling to their abilities. However I never considered the non-militant branches which provide services to the Imperium in even more desperate need then soldiery. I discounted them as one would clerks of the administratum, the gears that keep the soldiers going. However in an Imperium so rife with large scale problems, these less prominent duties will have an arguably far larger scale effect then another strike team of sisters. A squad can win a battle, a healing saint a war, a piece of well found intel could stop the problem before either is needed.
Great vid!! I never tire of the sisters story it’s particularly fascinating in a verse of fascination!! Plus you can’t beat a silver Bob !!

Am I the only one who was thinking that when the Bride's of the Emperor confronted the Custodes, threatening to fire upon them, the thought of, "Oh aren't you adorable; you think you're a threat to us", passed through at least a few of the Custodes?

or "exceptionally / extremely normal" (i.e. happens all the time)?

"Normal" interrogation leaves the subject able to answer further questions.
You can use the original latin meaning of extra here, i.e. beyond or outside of. So "beyond normal" as you stated.

I guess it’s the irony of the whole thing, but the sisters of battle are completely at odds with the Imperial Truth. The Emperor himself was adamant that he, himself, was just a man and not Devine, he censored Lorgar and the Word Bearers for just this belief….love the channel, you and Baldamort are my favorite sources of lore
It's a hilarious irony that the outlawed beliefs that the Heresy originated from, went on to be the main doctrine of the whole Imperium.
When the only 6 mortals to ever see the golden throne beheld the emperor big E tipped his fedora said, "Lol, I'm not real". Then they went on to be fanatical followers and perform miracles in his name. If one smugly chuckles at a living saint she will realize she doesn't exist and then, bam! Game over!
When I roll 6 to wound with flamers and the wounds miraculously become rending or a T3 cannoness tanks a chaos lord for 6 turns. I know he on Earth is present and protecting the faithful.

Outve listening/watching the lions share of the "Big 5ish" WH40K CZcams lore masters presentations in the last 2 or so months, I'd have to DEF say that Oculus Imperia & his work sit @ #1 in terms of how the material is rendered....

Astartes follow the codex about as well as homebrew chapters do. Even the ultra boys have 11 chapters. Codex is like a handbook you get at a job and you sign something and throw it away.
where was the Custodes, Astartes, Guard and the Inquisition? how did they let the reign of blood happened? heck even the Assassins could of done something.
The timing of increased warp storm activity during the Age of Apostasy cut off many system from preventing most of them from Warp Travel, and where there's Warp storms, Chaos Legions come out and play. Alongside with an onslaughts of Ork Roks(space hulks) coming out of nowhere and opportunistic Dark Eldars raiding cut off systems, yeah Imperium had a whole lot of stuff in its plate at that time.
