Tree frogs can easily climb out using their sticky feet. They can climb up glass so the pitcher plant isn’t a problem

That would be taking away meals from the plant, though. I wouldn't be surprised if the frog eats some of the insects, but if it eats too many it might need a new place to hide.

It took quite some time to believe that some plants are carnivores. And yet nature had more in store.
Turns out the vast majority of herbivores will kill and eat something if an opportunity occurs and almost everything eats baby birds.
So plants going for the meat diet is logical.
