- I just recently celebrated yet another birthday, but this one brought about a lot of questions I think many of us struggle to answer from time to time. Am I doing what I should be doing at my age? Have I matured adequately? In this video, my different sides come together to determine whether or not my heart is in the right place at this point in my life. Hope you enjoy!

I'm pretty much the same way, except I tend to get to bed around 3:00 am from watching Sanders Sides Gotcha Life videos. Like TikTok reactions, dares, Incorrect quotes, and other stuff. Like watching the different sides be drunk or get turned into babies/toddlers/kids. Time travel and other situations. Then I watch Sanders Sides TikToks on the app on my phone, in bed before I finally decide to watch Moondrop sing his little song (f.n.a.f) so I can go to sleep.

Wild how Patton did a complete 180 after this episode. I'd like to think that despite his title he actually hadn't put a lot of thought into his moral beliefs until Janus showed up, and he ended up seeing these joyful things as wasted opportunities to do good. I just imagine him thinking "Thomas doesn't want to be a bad person, so I have to make sure he's a good person. What does a good person do? A good person never wastes an opportunity to help people. Ever."
late but its super interesting to me how patton turned from embodying mostly “the heart/emotions” in these earlier episodes and later on he focused more on being “morality”. i feel like this episode was one of the crucial ones in turning down his “heart” side of things, due to the belittlement of the others. its obvious how he got to repressing during the “moving on” saga, thinking that his emotions were not needed nor how he was feeling. then came janus, and patton really just focused on being “morality” as you said in your comment! but anyways yeah i could be wrong but this is my observation and interpretation of things
OH and how roman said “perhaps you should just stick to knowing whats right and whats wrong and leave the rest to us” which pushed pattons motive of being just “morality” more
it very much seems like he has no idea what he's doing when it comes to morals, which is interesting considering he is morality but honestly, it's not even unrealistic. most of the time when you ask people in-depth questions about their morals or just simply ask them "why" they think that way, they can't give you an answer.
that's because morality is taught by your parents and the adults around you. that's why it varies so much from person to person. what is right and wrong is pretty much entirely subjective. there is no reason. it's just "how things are." and it has such an impact on you that even as your worldview becomes less black and white as you get older, (for most people anyway lol) those views don't change much. it's a topic I'm pretty interested in because morality is so versatile. our indivuality is kind of our downfall, tbh.
