Many times, we find ourselves with feelings we don't quite understand or have difficulty processing. A lot of those feelings can be worked out with the right kind of critical thinking. In this video, Thomas has been feeling bad and doesn't quite know why. The Sides are pointing fingers and there's no end in sight. It's time to solve the problem by approaching it from a new angle! I thought it was just me
I saw someone point this out on Tumblr: at 15:58 when Logan gets angry and we see a close-up shot of his hand, you can see an orange light in the staircase. This episode was when the "dark sides" had already started to be introduced, so perhaps the orange side, who we can now pretty confidently assume is somehow connected to anger, was already being teased here!
Plus the "dark side" teases have often been conveyed through them influencing our already existing sides, who react to something in a way that is uncharacteristic of them, and then afterwards go "sorry, I don't know what that was'. We see it from Logan here, and we saw it from Roman in the Christmas episode when he said something about "naked aunt patty" which was very Remus-y.
One thing I've noticed about the dark sides is that they're almost the opposite of a certain side, and it's one that logic/Logan was able to debunk. It'd be interesting to see a dark side that logic/logan can't prove useless or maybe has some sort of control over him.
I was looking for this comment. I paused the video at that moment and replayed it solely because of that staircase light. Unfortunately, however, Thomas' lights seem to be mostly white/orange anyway, so it's difficult to claim that the orange colour in this scene was deliberately applied.
just a thought but it'd be cool if orange was logan and making orange a different persona than him because he doesn't want to be associated with rage

I just love how Virgil completely plays along in this episode. He gets to participate in the goofs and is actually one of the more mature sides here. It would have been so easy for him to slip into agreeing with Logan, and in an early episode that's definitely what he would have done, but he was so laid back here.
Actually, I doubt Virgil would have choose a side to begin with in the beggining. Remember in "New years lies"? He just showed up because the sides argue and try to discourage Thomas for doing anything.

Like Virgil and Patton are the ones who often show signs of strong emotions while Roman and Logan are the ones who make a solution or idea to try out.

Logan can often be seen repressing his own emotions, but he represses his anger the least, perhaps because anger can be hard to control. His angry outburst that led to him yeeting the paper at Roman left everyone shocked, including Logan. Logan felt quite stunned and ashamed about that. Logan only lies when it comes to himself- more specifically, his feelings. In the end Logan says, "I've never felt anything in my life." Everyone knew that that was a blatant lie. Logan tries to hide his emotions in order to seem more professional, which is unhealthy.

It makes sense why he does it too, Before "ACEPTING ANXIETY" The others weren't really the nicest to him, Thomas made a lot of remarks about not wanting Virgil around, Roman insulted Virgil *a lot* and sometimes Logan pays no attention to his opinions, The only person (or side) that accepted him as one of them was Patton.

Arguably my favorite thing Virgil has ever said. Logan's solution and Virgil's response are both so over the top, and the phrase "Shut your dirty mouth" is always hilarious to me. PLUS, I just really love the line delivery here!
