Proof: Arnold Schwarzenegger is in every Terminator Movie, and is the only redeeming quality of anything after Judgement day. Willem Dafoe is in "the great wall". That movie is still ass, even with him. Besides, Metroman is a side character. He's there at the start, and then only briefly appears as Megamind's disguise, and then actually shows up, to his celebration. How can an actor who will be ofscreen for a majority of the movie save it? Also, Will ferrell is the definitive Megamind. Noone can replace him. I doubt he'd be able to move like Megamind does in the movie.
Would Mark make a good Metroman? Yes. Would it make the movie great? No, Metroman isn't a character with alot of screen time.
Plus, live action remakes almost always fail to accomplish what made the original movie good.

Honestly there's enough similarities to say they look alike, just, he has a smaller head than mark, and I can imagine animation studios made his features a bit larger to show more emotion. Eyes are bigger for sure at least.
