There’s something about that line that stayed with me all these years. The thought of Mark Hamill, happily living in a basement and eating bread and apples, creates this mood of him just being totally centered and good at life. Nostalgia.

Mark Hamill is an awesome voice actor. He's done so many great things, I feel bad that people only ever remember him for Star Wars.

He's known for his Joker as well (though he's retired from the role since his Batman Kevin Conroy died).
His random cameos are super entertaining, like Cocknocker in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. Or Professor Arnold in Kingsman: The Secret Service.
He was also in the Guyver which was a great Sci fi b movie.

lol, we can make 1 for ourselves cuz the ashtray itself really did’nt have any sw markings on it. My suggestion: buy a plain clay ashtray, buy 2 jawas and an r2d2, glue the two jawas opposite each other on the ashtray and glue r2 upside down in the middle, put a little desert (white) sand in. Put ashes from cig in r2’s ass. Now you’ve got an assh2d2 captured diorama ashtray

I am pretty sure it was a SNL cast member, but his portrayal of Harrison Ford is awesome, look up Mark Hamill on CZcams, videos of him talking about Star Wars around 2015. He talks a lot about his work with Ford, and he nails it!

The bread and apples thing is true though. I once passed him on the street and, ironically enough, I had just bought a loaf of bread and two apples. I was so shocked at seeing one of my childhood heroes, I threw my groceries into the air and before they hit the ground, Mark did two back-flips then caught them with his mouth. I began to clap for him, but then Mark looked down at me with his 11 foot tall neck and said "I need about tree fiddy." It was about this time I realized Mark was really a giant crustacean from the Paleolithic Era in a blonde wig. I was fooled once again by the Loch Ness monsta.

I spent over two years looking through Amazon and eBay, and I think I finally found a second Mark Hamill.
I love Mark Hamil in this skit. He just goes along with it. And just seems personable.
For those wrestling fans out there, Will Ferrell is playing Don West here. West would become a famous fixture in the early days of TNA (now known as Impact) Wrestling. He would be the color commentator for the company for the first 7 years the company existed.
He still works for the company, running the merchandising end.

That's because Shop At Home Network was a real thing. It's not just a parody of home shopping shows, it's literally a parody of one show in particular, including the actual hosts.
