Liricí le Nathan agus Liam Óg
    Cór na mbuachaillí
    Damhsóirí le Hannah Scully
    Stiúrtha ag Losty
    Tá cailín ann
    I m’ shaol
    Suí síos taobh liom
    Inseoidh mé an scéal
    Tá sí gan locht
    Áileann ‘gus binn
Ní raibh a fhios agam gurb í sise an duine a theastaíonn
Muid mí-aibí ach muid fós gafa
    Len’ chéile gach aon lá
Dúirt mé nach n-éalóinn go deo
    Stóirín téamh m’aghaidh
Mo chroí ag leá ar do radharc
Tabhair póigín milis dom go beo
A bhaebaí, gach aon rud i gceart
    Is mé in aice leat
    Ár dtodhchaí i d’ shúile
Ag damhsa go mall le pé amhrán
    Nuair nach raibh muinín agat
    Chroch mé do cheann
D’admhaigh mé gur thú mo stóirín
    Nach mbeidh muid tóghta anocht
    Lasann an seomra
    Leanann an solas í
Roinn muid ár smaointí agus scaití
    Líon sí mo bhrionglóidí
    Ar nós na sléibhte
Chonaic mé rud a bhí fíor
Fanann aoibhneas, fanann suaimhneas de shíor
Muid fós mí-aibí is fós gafa
    Len’ chéile gach samhradh
An áilleacht beo ionat go brách
‘S tú an té is daithiúla,
Bí liomsa ‘s beidh mé leatsa
Tá a fhios agam go mairfimid i bhfad
A bhaebaí, gach aon rud i gceart
    Is mé in aice leat
    Ár dtodhchaí i d’ shúile
Ag damhsa go mall le pé amhrán
    Nuair nach raibh muinín agat
    Chroch mé do cheann
D’admhaigh mé gur thú mo stóirín
    Nach mbeidh muid toghta anocht
A bhaebaí, gach aon rud i gceart
    Is mé in aice leat
    Ár dtodhchaí i d’ shúile
Ag damhsa go mall le pé amhrán
Ag siúl leat tríd an tsaoil
‘Nois tá a fhios agam gur thú an t-aon tá domsa
    Nach bhfuil muid tóghta
    Faic eile fághta
    Nois tá muid tóghta anocht

I've been told that Irish spelling rules are consistent, which they are, I know how to read phonetically, but that goes against everything I learned about it.
