In Korea war of 1950's, Soviet Union provided Chinese army his best jet (Mig15) immediately. Compared with dictatorship, why efficiency of western countries is so slow?

Is there risk of Russia declaring all out war and taking whole of Ukraine?

I just want to thank Michael Clark for his outstanding understanding for what is going on - and the way he reports of it. Best man so far. 7 out of 5 Stars and a head tilt.
That's western evil propaganda. Evils and criminals
Is there an emoji for astro turf?
Captain 08/15 , Grandpa Michael Clown is always intentionally wrong even having in his back a huge map of the war to see that Ukraine is being grinding to the mush but he insists on telling us the opposite.
The best person for the Ukraine War on Sky News... Disposition, delivery, knowledge, tone of voice, presence.

Great, more of this.
Thanks Michael Clarke for your assessment of events. May Our Lady of Zarvanytsia, Andrey Sheptytsky, Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky and all Ukrainian saints, First Testament Prophets (Elijah, Joel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Amos etc), Jewish holy men and women, St Michael, Raphael and Gabriel and all the angels, intercede with the Almighty for the removal of Putin, Shoigu, General Gerasimov, Lavrov and their minions from power. May Ukraine be freed from Russian oppression. May all who have died RIP and may relatives and friends be comforted
Amen
A great professional professor! Great analyze.super
Question for the professor: how much have the Russians learned and adapted from their tactical and logistic failures of the previous year? Are they improving at all as a fighting force? Thanks.
Good question.
Clearly not, they haven't improved or changed tactics since WW2. They haven't learned from the Afghanistan war nor the 2 Chechnya wars.
@@Y_hass yet they are able to drain out western ammo storage
@@nukethemallSame as Ukraine draining Russian ammo storage lmfao 🤣 Prigozhin complained about Russian Minister of Defense that his troops been lacking shells lately
@@nukethemall At the cost of many lives. They're not getting that "ammo drain" for free.
Michael Clark is THE man. I have watched this more than once he is that good. Clear and precise, pithy analysis. Keep it coming, Professor Michael.
How's the weather in Cheltenham?
I like Professor Clark his videos are excellent
There's much talk of Russia escalating the conflict, and Western fears of Russian escalation by providing too much support to Ukraine. But what can Russia truly do to escalate? The nuclear option seems absurd, attacking another NATO country would surely invoke Article 5... more atrocities against the civilian populace?
Here is the recommended clip that say it :

Enjoyed the video. I appreciate detailed information on Ukraine.
This dude knows his stuff, and the best part is he’s just as passionate about it as his audience, something news media often misses the mark on.
Passionating is bad for a journalist, it means biased

Clarke isn't a journalist, he is an analyst and historian. Journalist are the ones reporting and asking the questions, Clarke and those like him are there to answer.

Professor Michael Clarke is an excellent presenter. Knows his subject in depth.
Yeah ! sure like when he said Russia is Running out of rockets, no fuel for tanks, soldiers run away all time due to the low moral, Russian troops moving forward are actually desperate retreats and more lies after lies. Grandpa Michael Clown is a propagandist.

He is the very best .
The demonstration as Michael Clarke calls it, did not fail miserably and was actually a civil war in Moldova, the country was divided in two as the Russian population there took half the country and renamed it Transnistria which they still hold today. The problem is that Transnistria has been the more successful state of the two despite being a soviet era state. Again Michael Clarke does not know what he is talking about when he says it failed miserably. basically Moldova lost half of their country and the situation was never resolved.
good man
Given the time delta between new armor and Russia's current push, we may see a bit of a back and forth movement of the lines while Ukraine updates their armored brigades.
Chinese armaments would change everything, however.
The only way to have a permanent peace in Ukraine is to have it joined as a member NATO. Or when Putin and his hawkish supporters are gone. Both of these scenarios are unfortunately out of reach, leaving the bloody battle fields as the only available difficult choice we have on the table right now.
make this every day or every week!!!!!!!
WHEN IS HIS BOOK OUT I WANT IT
😂
Does anyone actually seriously think that Putin can be ousted after bringing Russia to where it is since the last 30 years ? Putin is the Best leader of Modern times who has seen multiple different Presidents and Prime ministers from different countries come and go ?
No, no one does, including Clarke himself. This is just the propaganda he is paid to do.
@@Nick_S0 it's just exhausting to listen to the same pro west force fed narrative everyday .... to be fair Clarke has given the Russian military credit there due when warranted ! Imho I think the Russians are goin to hold the lines from North to South Ukraine once they take Bakhmut ?
@Type 1 Krush I am no military strategist but I am pretty sure they will push further onto Kromatorsk and Slavyansk. They have large reserves that have not engaged on the frontline.
With Ukraine receiving a mix of so many different tanks and apcs, will they be able to maintain them and supply them?
Major repairs will be done in Poland…

How likely is it that Ukraine will be provided with modern western jets, what planes are likely to be provided and how many. Also how will these fare against the Russian air defence missiles, which I understand are very capable munitions?
Questions for Professor Clarke:
1. Is there any prospect of solving the problem the Russians have with Ukraine by an exchange of populations? In other words, would incentives for Ukrainians who would prefer to be part of Russia to move to Russia's pre-2014 borders (and perhaps people living in Russia who would prefer to live in Ukraine to move to Ukraine) help the situation? I'm not completely clear if Putin is trying to help the people in Ukraine who feel more kinship with Russia or if he's simply attempting to grab land from Ukraine and merely using pro-Russian Ukrainians to justify his invasion (at least partly). The Ukrainians have been very clear on restoring the pre-2014 borders as being a minimum requirement for peace but there is clearly *some* public support for Russia among Ukrainians in the areas currently occupied by the Russian Army. I wonder if gifting Russophilic Ukrainians money or property in Russia might persuade them to relocate to Russia en masse and therefore remove at least that tension from the situation.
2. What security guarantees might Russia accept towards ending the conflict with Ukraine permanently? I know Putin is posturing about wanting NATO borders to go back to where they were at the end of the Cold War but is this his minimum demand or is this a starting point that he might be willing to negotiate? Would the current war ending with Ukraine agreeing not to join NATO or the EU be a sufficient security guarantee for Putin? Is anyone even talking to the Russians via back channels trying to determine exactly what minimum guarantees they would accept?
I have a question: Would it make more sense for Ukraine to stablize the fighting in the east (perhaps by pushing Russia back by seizing Kremina and making gains like those seen in October), and then continuing the western armored vehicles to smash through the southern front line and blitz to Crimea? That way, Russia may relocate some southern forces to the North to stablize the front line, and Ukraine can use the disarray to oush all the way into securing a foothold in Crimea.
Ukraine will have to face that mass production and manufacture of weapons and ammunitions have to come from within.
Ukraine needs support to set these factories up! They need the technical support and infrastructure to do this.
Poland also should be a country that the West should do this in.
What is West waiting for?
What is NATO not doing, we do not want to hear what they are doing. Let’s get this done because after the war, this needs to be done anyway. Let’s start now.
What is the free world holding back for?
One thing I've been thinking about is this... so far Ukraine has been fighting an almost purely defensive war. Very few strikes into Russia and very small at that. Should this war go for years, with a series of cease-fires as Dr. Clarke suggests, Ukraine will at some point need to have the ability to strike meaningfully into Russia, hit their airfields, logistics centers, etc. The West will never provide this out of fear of angering Russia, so Ukraine will need to develop it on their own. Should Ukraine go down this path and Russia starts to feel some of the pain that Ukraine has been forced to feel, how will that impact the war?
My question is:
If this war continues, would it be still possible for Europe and the US to recover and prosper economically?
They went and did it
only six minutes of prof.Clarke ? Give us 60 minutes.....

Who does he think will ultimately win ?
Ultimately Allah will wipe out the enemies of Russia according to the Qur'an. As Russia is not part of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Don't worry about mr Clarke. What does Ladbrokes say ?
Nobody, it's a war.
Ukraine unless they lose Western support.
Nobody wins in a nuclear war
We need more of Prof Clarke please
Thanks Prof Clarke. If Russia was losing and there was an attempt by Ukraine to retake Crimea, would that make Putin use tactical nuclear weapons?
If Russia surrounds Kiev, nobody will care about Crimea
while i doubt we will ever get this information from the government i would love to see what the UK and other European governments are doing defense wise to bring themselves back to a state of partial readiness for conflict.
over just a year there has been multiple close calls where nato could have been called to war so i would imagine most governments have at bare minimum increased their production of certain weapons and certainly ammunition for the hopefully unnecessary domestic stockpiles.
He's simply the best 'pundit'around
2 Questions: What about the possible air campaign of russia ? What about Belarus ?
Good fence's make good neighbors
Speculations dont make someone an expert in anything
Do we know if any western equipment has been captured by the russians? If so what is the practical significance of that?
