    Genius! How did I not come across this earlier - I have been struggling with creating a host and domain for clients and then finding a way to get them to pay for it, really banging my head against a brick wall. This is a crazy plot twist, as you pay one-off monthly fee for server space and the rest is money in the bank. Thanks for sharing and wish you all the best with your businesses.

    HI Bryce how can you divide the storage size for the clients for example you have 75GB and you have around 60client so every client will get around 1.5GB so here the question
    1- do you think that will enough while another hosting website provides unlimited storage size so will quite difficult to compete
    2- what about the cost of how you price your hosting services for example lets say how much for 1GB ?

    • @BryceMatheson
      @BryceMatheson  Před 3 lety +1

      It’s not required, but it’s obviously easier to find new clients if you can also build them a site too. Usually it goes hand in hand.

    Hi Bryce, thank you for your videos!
    I have a question about server location. You said you live in Idaho and you bought one in Michigan, but I see that A2 hosting also has a server in Arizona. I would assume that it would be better to choose the one in Arizona except if your clients are in the east coast? My question is did you know where your clients would be before and purchased it knowingly? And if you have in the end more clients is other states can you change easily the location of your server? Thank you for your help!

    • @BryceMatheson
      @BryceMatheson  Před 3 lety +2

      It really doesn’t make *that* big of a difference. I had a lot of clients initially on the east coast, so that’s why I chose Michigan. But now I have clients nationwide and it hasn’t been an issue.

    • @BryceMatheson
      @BryceMatheson  Před 3 lety +1

      MustaWizard yup. Exactly. The cheapest reseller plan is about $10/mo. And a domain name is typically $12/yr. So you’ll be around $12/mo to start. But your very first client will cover all those expenses, and then every client after that will be pure profit.

    Hi Bryce, so for the A2 hosting it’s giving me a one time 51% off. Does that mean I will have to pay double next time I pay for it? I wanted to just get one month to start to try it out, but I’m concerned that if I go back to renew its going to be considerably more expensive the next time

      I was also curious what sort of pitch you used the first time you spoke to the digital marketing company? Additionally, what method did you use to contact them? I would imagine if I called a company up I would end up speaking initially to someone at the front desk, just wondering how I would get to speak to the right person and say the right thing. Thank you so much!

    • @BryceMatheson
      @BryceMatheson  Před 4 lety

      Hi Kay. Sorry for the late reply. A2 Hosting will give you a discount if you purchase a longer term up front. So yes, once that term ends, you'll be bumped up to the normal rate. It's unfortunate, but how it is.

    Hey thanks for your vids they're great. 2 questions. I'm seeing a huge difference in price from a2. Double what I see on your vid. Second I currently have a shared hosting server where I host several friends websites. I've even got one thats a small start up business site. Why can't one just do this? These are simple sites . I just ask people to pay their share of the cost so not for profit. Thanks

    • @BryceMatheson
      @BryceMatheson  Před 3 lety

      What differences are you seeing in pricing? I would definitely start charging for profit. That’s the only way to do business.

    • @iflynina
      @iflynina Před 3 lety

      @@BryceMatheson I don't see Bronze Silver Gold. I see Kickstart , Launch, Grow and just for example I see Gold on the vid is $18.13 USD and on their site the "Grow" which is the same specs as the Gold from video is $34.99 USD. Well, I thought to myself if I can host these 4 sites what if I could do more and maybe turn a little profit. But I'm on a Shared server account that has unlimited websites allowed. I currently have 4 sites with different domains on there. Mine, wife, friend and small business for my wife.

    • @BryceMatheson
      @BryceMatheson  Před 3 lety +1

      @@iflynina Ah, yes, you're correct. A2 has updated their pricing since filming this video, which is unfortunate. I still recommend them, though. While you can have 'unlimited websites' on your shared hosting, you can't have unlimited cPanels, and that's a big deal. Each individual client needs to have their own cPanel so as to not co-mingle files and databases and such.
