- Melissa Villaseñor's first appearance on TV after America's Got Talent was on WGN, and now she's back to give us some amazing celebrity impressions. She shares who her favorite impression to do is. She talks about doing an Adam Sandler impression in front of him during SNL.
That Kristen Wiig impersonation was spot-on!
Amazing wasn't it. I like how Jerry was laughing and smiling just waiting for it, he knew it was going to be good and was already smiling.
1st time me listening to this impersonation. I almost dropped my phone when I heard it, ah-mazing!
Not to say I'm an expert or anything, but if you told me that -was- Kristen, I wouldn't have second-guessed it even a half of a percent. It's uncanny.
I always figure it'd be a little hard for some people to perfectly nail a voice like that, because it can't sound accurate in her head like it does to us, so I wonder if she listened to recordings of herself and just remembers what she is doing/what she hears so she knows if it comes out right.
Or maybe she thinks she's bang-on with the voice in her head, but she's wrong and her wrongness happens to sound perfect to us.
agree totally. it was like for a split second, Kristen was right there. Melissa needs more love from the SNL writers. Remember Kristen Wiig's overly nervous woman? The one who can't calm down? I could see Melissa doubling up and both of them creating a hilarious skit. Two surgical nurses?

She doesn’t get enough credit in SNL. Her Gaga was so on the point.
She does some good impressions but beyond the looks, that Gaga impression was bad.
In my honest opinion, she got better looking with age

Her very first year she got snagged on a Twitter blackmail, but skimmed over it. It’s good because she works very hard.

You know they come up with their own sketches right? No new ideas means no screentime. You wanna be "utilized" you better come up with some great fucking ideas, and outshining Kate and Cecily is not easy.

She usually plays the character that is shut down or kick out of the sketch. Its infuriating .

Just amazing -- Villaseñor doesn't just do the voices, her whole face and mannerisms are transformed. She doesn't just do impressions; she channels people. And it's amazing how quickly she can do it -- no prep time getting into the voice.

Melissa is truly gifted. She really brings joy to the world at a very high level with her impressions.
She looks so pretty here. Very chill, natural, girl-next-door. One of the lucky people where a little bit of grey in the hair is complementary. Bet her standup would be a good show. Loved the Whitney Cummings.
