She can only do like 10 big celebrity impressions and none are ever trending or in need to be in a sketch because it's all about current events and The other women on the show are very good at impersonating random people on a last minute notice with not much material to go on, not to mention they get paid alot more so they are expected to be seen more

He's very talented, no doubt. When he was younger and more edgy, he was very funny and charming. Then people marry, get serious, and it kinda settles down that energy and that edge, and it muffles down the talent a bit.

None of those guys were the stars of their era. Fallon and Hammond were in the Will Ferrell era. Hartman was in the Mike Myers/Chris Farley/Adam Sandler era. Armisen is in the Hader/Samberg era.
Tho to be fair, Fallon and Fey were the stars once Ferrell left....even though I’d take Tracy Morgan any day over Fallon.

A weird voice seems to be a requisite for a good impressionist...we have an artist here in Italy that has the most awkward regular voice ever but when he sings he can do the best impressions ever and very challenging impressions too, he can imitate singers that have very powerfull voices with astounding vocal ranges. Very strange indeed.

Is using autotune/vocoder effects still a popular thing for rappers to use when signing in hiphop?? I thought this was a long gone and disliked thing, but then I saw some big names using it on their SNL performances (performances which were rough and got a lot of hate on social media.)
I mean I faintly remember one guy used it nearly the entire song! And it didn’t sound well. It can be used in certain situations but I wonder if sometimes they do it purposely to get people talking on social media. Using negative attention for free publicity has become it’s own art form, just see Kanye West’s recent SNL performance and publicity stunts...
