She's one of my favorite people on SNL. She's so underrated.
Underrated AND underutilized.
It's sad because the only non impression related thing she did with significance was the bedroom talk skits. I wish she got a chance to do some characters.

3 in a 44 year history is simply insufficient. SNL is failing the Latino community. Btw: Julio Torres, a brilliant writer, is of Salvadoran decent. Although not a cast member, he wrote some of the best skits on SNL.
I remember seeing her on AGT years ago and after watching her live at small clubs back in Cali. One time Melissa mentioned her youtube channel and I went home after the show and watched a few of her videos. It's crazy how a girl working retail made it to SNL. Great for her!
So glad to see Melissa here! She's so warm and seems to enjoy life so much. I loved her stories and impressions of her parents, esp her mom, haha! Enjoyed hearing a little about how she gets into her characters. Looking forward to seeing the full version of her Lin-Manuel Miranda!

I could listen to her laugh all day! She appreciates good humor and conversation, so transparent and real (and a wonderful smile to boot!) ! She certainly has not let her fame go to her head. If you haven't seen it, She was interviewed by (or more chatted with) Jerry Seinfeld on "Comedians in Cars Drinking Coffee." It was my introduction to her -- As well as taking part in the numorous moments in the show, She giggled through most of the show - totally adorable!

I think everyone remembers her debut in America's got talent, when I saw her, I said; "that girl's going to be a star", and she did it. What I admire most about Melissa is her impressions, they're so cool, if I could choose one of her imitations, that would be Christina Aguilera impression. Every time I see her doing that impression, I feel amazed because, it's so authentic, I truly love her.
She combines humor, pleasantness, and cuteness to the Nth degree. What a fun and absolutely adorable person!
