A common misconception of people who are "succeeding"/ doing well, is that it comes naturally and even easily to them.
Most of the time, it took a lot of effort and trial and error.
Also consider that behind the scenes, "normal" life things can ask so much more of a person than you might originally think.
Here is an example of the tremendous amount of hard work and perseverance that is put into - for most people - a pretty straightforward and evident task in life.
Some people don't think twice about learning a new skill. Some never try. And then there are some who push their boundaries in order to get where they want to go. It's important to note these wins.
Take note of your resilience, take note of your courage, take note you gave it your all and look... it never looks as daunting once you've made it to the other side. The scary place doesn't seem that "big" anymore. You've grown into it, and perhaps soon; you'll even grow out of it.
