When I was a kid, I watched a Mexican telenovela aimed for kids called “Lola erase una vez”. I never saw her again until I saw she’d transitioned to Hollywood. I thought omg she has the same name as the actress that played Lola. I literally didn’t realize they were the same person lmao

I remember when Eiza started out in Mexican telenovelas (soap operas) she was a teen, like 17ish and they brutally criticized her weight, face and nose. She did a couple of more novelas and then she drastically lost weight and had some slight surgeries. then she resurfaced in Hollywood and I realized she literally changed everything about herself furthermore through surgery. and also, started working out heavy.
her case reminds me a lot of Kylie Jenner who used to be critiqued for not having lips or being pretty enough or curvy enough, she later went and had all the plastic surgery known to man done on her body and then was again criticized for being 'fake and all plastic' - but ironically now after Kylie and Eiza had all these surgeries they are thriving and admired for their beauty. society's double standards and objectification of women destroys their self image but then they get critiqued when they become what society told them they should be.
I personally am not against ppl getting work done but do think it's a shame that women in media and Hollywood have to change everything about themselves to be accepted. but at the same time get praise or backlash. it's all weird.

I feel the difference between Eiza and Kylie is that Eiza’s surgeries were very well done, whereas Kylie looks like a middle-aged blow up doll. Eiza doesn’t have a ton of filler like Kylie.

As someone who is Mexican, people don't like to admit this but a lot of Mexicans really want to look white. The novelas always have actors with colored eyes and light skin. My cousins who lived in Mexico were brown but used to wear white foundation and put in blue eye contacts. I believe they have stopped doing this in recent years. Things have gotten better but it is still prevalent in Mexican media.

Her original nose reminds me of my ex’s, who is Mexican American. His family was descended from Galician Jews, and this is a Sephardic feature. It’s very unique and I wish that women were encouraged to embrace our unique features in the same way that men are. Pedro Pascal has a similar nose too. This angular, v-shaped trend with the same eye shape, lips, and jaw is getting ridiculous.
This is true. The interesting thing is that this type of nose is very common amongst certain ethnic groups in Spain/Iberia as well as particular native ethnicities in part of Mexico and the Andes mountain ranges. So a lot of Latinos, even if they look more European, may have inherited it from either side

Her plastic surgeon is extremely talented because she had a lot of work done, but you wouldn't be able to tell unless you look at her before and after pictures side by side. That's the sign of a very talented surgeon in my opinion. The best surgery is the one that goes unnoticed.
Agree. I watched her on _Lola; Érase una Vez_ as a young adult, and how she looked then vs. now is a night/day difference. In 2007 I thought she was so cute and adorkable. Then, in 2011, I remember how she looked for _Amores Verdaderos._ She just looked like she lost some weight, and that's it. But once I started seeing her in more recent things, the differences are drastic!

I'm Peruvian and Puerto Rican American. It took a long time for me to accept certain features on my face like my nose. I always felt it was big and when I was younger I wanted a tiny nose. Now when I look at my features I see my ancestors ♡

I first saw Eiza in the movie Ambulance. I remember being shocked by how beautiful she was. This is one of those analyses where I really say to myself: "Beauty is an illusion. Nothing is real. All celebrities have had SOMETHING done and most have gotten a lot of work done! I will never compare myself to them again because THEY don't even look like their 'natural selves.''
I love watching plastic surgery analyses. They are so fascinating, and plastics really is the perfect mix of art and science. I can't imagine how much pressure there is to look a certain way in Hollywood. And hey, they have the money, so why not? Exactly, we never made fun of her looks or weight because she looked like a normal mexican woman, we disliked her because she couldn't act or sing yet still started her career with starring roles just because of her parents, also she was unlikeable. Her surgeries suit her very well, she is beautiful and doesn't look overdone. I think when you have a fleshier face to start with you can do more vs people who start out with a very thin face. To me it looks like in the shots between 2018 and 2023 she has had cheek implants, they look too hard to be filler in my opinion.

Aloe vera is so underrated. It's the main product that has completely evened out my skin tone. I use aloe gel and vitamin e oil daily and it has made my skin beautifully even & dewy as I approach 40. Good skin care doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg! 🙌

Eiza looks like a totally different person. I wouldn't know she's the same person in her before and after pics. Most people don't end up looking like a completely different person, even after lots of procedures. I think because her nose looks so totally different is a big reason why she looks like two different people.
I am from Mexico and you have no idea how lucky she is. She was always known to be a MEAN GIRL. The spectacle world is not like in here. Everything is more exposed and less taboo. She is not deserving of her positions compared to other very talented mexican actresses...but surgeries and favors got her where she is. Sad. She isn't even the shell of the person she used to be

She deff has changed her face a lot. Her nose, eyes, and jaw are the biggest change. I think she looked best in mid 2010s. Now her face is very bony and imo looks too fake.
