Yeah, I think it will work even for people who didn't cared about Marques before. I mean, it's the purpose of it, but it's done so well that even I, knowing all the facts from it, appreciate it.

This whole interview is so inspiring. The questions are perfect, and this was so smooth. I've been watching Marques for like 7 years. And I respect his work flow and video techniques, and just the smaller details, and even the Easter eggs he inclues. Each thing just adds to the quality, the dedication is crazy. I aspire to get to this place in my niche.

Marquez is a huge inspiration, from New Jersey! Super humble and gentle guy.
Linus Sebastian (LinusTechTips) would be a great interview. His channel has turned into an entire conglomerate of businesses like LinusMediaGroup, FloatPlane and Creator Warehouse.
A Linus Media Group interview would be awesome too because it's really different from MKBHD's small team! The LMG workflow with tons of employees and several youtube channels is such a drastic contrast

I loved the part about "hiring above yourself", I think a great example of this is John Robinson/Nadeshot if you're familiar with 100 Thieves.

Amazing interview! I am really happy to hear you discuss the "team" aspects of channel development. It seems like there comes a time with CZcamsrs where the work is too much for just them, and I've witnessed some very solid creators get completely overwhelmed by the process because they are going through it alone. Their process has through evolution morphed into a quality level that cannot be replicated with regularity while keeping to a consistent upload schedule. Great discussion points.
It's funny you say that about his team yet another commenter just before you said that marques prefers to edit his own videos. When you're a one man band it's all you. Once you start bringing other people in that's going to change for good or ill.

Knowing how deliberate and aware Marques is in his videos, as a viewer you always think about "Is there something more to him?". This interview was a great answer to that question.
