Wow what a stunning set up
Ok, Its an impressively designed pond. My problem with raised ponds and ponds with windows is that koi look good from the top, not from the sides. Now, if he lived in Hawaii instead of England he could turn it into the most spectacular reef tank/pond ever. I'd rather just have a typical formal pond in the same place.
It's obviously a stunning pond with gorgeous koi but I do agree with you. Each to their own I guess.
I agree, my personal favorites are the one with a view from the top. BUT, this pond is design so well. Fish are healthy and the water is insanely clear

Totally agree. Koi are not particularly stunning on a side view which is why to this day, although have a raised pond, do not regret no window. Despite the 'fashion' trend.

A stunning pond and fabulous koi. Personally I don't like the four windows, it makes it more like an outdoor aquarium. Still, it's a great setup and the koi are gorgeous. 🙂👍

The fish are awesome. The pond is very nice, just not what I like. Mine is a liner in ground with a lot of plants around it. The viewing side gas my patio butting to it.
They're so huge... they look cramped.
I raised koi also,the problem of glass is that they got blured of algea,and you have to cleaned always.

Amazing pond! I also rebuilt my koi pond earlier this year and have 2 large windows similar to these in the video. Still looking for a good/efficient way to clean them on the inside. Using a small aquarium tool now but looking for something better. Anyone know something?
Maybe one of the magnetic window cleaning devices would work. Thick glass might be a problem though.
With all that space its a shame it aint bigger . Looks amazing to us but more like a prison for the fish

The fish are stunning. Such beautiful high quality. How does the owner not know what food he is feeding? He looks like he has to learn alot about koi very quickly before any problems arise.

@@TheKoiPartner If you spend that much on a koi setup I can't imagine they would be feeding them anything else. Possibly FD Koi food but my guess is Saki Hikari.

Not enough length, great for owners not so great for fish
I do understand your point, although the fish live in very very healthy water they might need some extra space or change a bit of the numbers of koi in there 😊

Way too boxy, boring design. Compare with e.g. wonderful organic, rocked semi-natural ponds so common in the US and Australia.
Luckily everyone is allowed to have their own taste. But remember, a good koi pond is not a semi-natural pond. These are two different worlds. Dont get fooled
@@TheKoiPartner Well, you know there are different schools of thought about what's a "good" koi pond :) Koi can thrive in a well made semi-natural pond: without bottom drain, without Oase drum filter, and with pebbles / rock at the bottom. It's all about flow and filtering. Ours is about 60.000 l, with a ca 20.000 l wetland filter and two intake bays. Four axial flow propeller pumps, each pushing ca. 15.000 l at only 30W. We're in Sweden, and the Koi love to hide / burry themselves during winter in the muck / plant roots at the bottom. I'm Dutch by the way, you're most welcome to visit us near Karlskrona. We would be honored :)

Everyone is sprouting on about how beautiful it looks, but no one is talking about how horrible and boring this must be for the fish.
They're intelligent animals, not accessories for your garden.
At least make something interesting for them so they have quality of life.
Animals aren't "things" to be used for decoration.
Have a care about their happiness and enrichment as well.
Cruel, unfeeling un-empathetic people....
I get your point, I agree this pond is not the most natural looking pond. But don’t forget these fish are born and raised in captivity. The koi are treated better than a average dog or cat.
