Tenerife…Is it worth going in December ? | How busy is the Island and what is the weather like?

- A December trip to Tenerife. playa de Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Las Galletas, Silencio. Weather is great and resorts are busy
Tenerife is beautiful, nice island to stay for holiday. Been there twice. We were suppose to go back in February 2024, but the trip got cancelled, so we have repaced it with a trip to Gran Canaria. Looking forward to that. I think the period from November through February is the best times for holiday on The Canary islands. The reason is simple, it’s the darkest period here in Norway, so it’s the best time to stay away 😊
Very similar in Scotland. It was great having daylight until 7pm in Tenerife ☀️

I have never been able to get my head round the black sand. My brother always used to go to Tenerife. I am sure I could get the hang of the sand when you have the sun anyway 😁😁
The black sand is actually fine . Gets very hot when you walk in it though 🤣

It’s called Parque Santiago 4 in playa de las Americas. Yeah the views are amazing .
Only been sunny for past few days was thick black cloud and rain for about three weeks before that
Yes I heard the weather hadn’t been too good . It was like that last year for a couple of days when I was here.
We stayed in that hotel about many years ago all inclusive it was appalling no glasses for drinks just paper coke cups all the food was cold 😂😂
They don’t do all inclusive anymore as it’s mainly an apartment complex and not a hotel . Most the apartments have been done up .
Going to las Americas in late July
Will be very hot . Enjoy 👍
