Andrew, it's not blood, it's Myoglobin. A protein found in red meat that transports oxygen in the cells. As a piece of meat ages, the muscle tissue breaks down, causing the liquid and myoglobin to leak out 🥩
Medium done is about 60-65 celsius in the middle, so definitely not cold! There are restaurants that will ask you to leave if you order steaks well done 😂
Food looked awesome but I felt sorry for the cremated steak fillet 😂

I've stayed in the room above and the room above that. The Villa Cortes is a fabulous hotel. Our favourite.

There is nothing - i repeat nothing - on that menu i couldn't demolish, especially the puddings. Looks fabulous, both the decor and the food. Lovely vlog.

We visited the bank in June and thought it pricey but, the quality of the food and service is exceptional.
Strangely, you ordered the same steaks & sides as we did.
Watching tonight I’m reassured that when we return, the quality will still be there.

Really looking forward to eating here when we are over in October. It’s been on my list for some time but never got a chance to go. As you say, you get what you pay for & the steaks in any of the Venture group never disappoint. Nice to have an alternative to Empire. Seems to have a more laid back vibe. Glad you both enjoyed your night. You deserve it with all you have going on at the moment. xx

Glad to see open and been used,its been our neighbour for a few years having stayed at santy 4.maybe will try not far to walk back.normally always have steak medium,yours did look overcooked,each to their own.any wine is great with steak,it's the wine that you like that counts.take care both.❤

@@TheKnightStriderI couldn't eat any raw bits either but it doesn't need to be like that or completely burnt to a cinder. Watch the guy on CZcams visiting Japan's most expensive steak houses and watch how they cook it. That restaurant looked terrible to me but I'll now know to stay clear of it. Thanks

You should try fillet steak rare honestly it is so tender used to get mine cremated and then managed to go to medium and then rare. You will not regret it

Andrew’s steak looked cremated! 😂 We’re big fans of Empire but really like Bank too. We went a couple of times in the summer and looking forward to returning in October. The ambience of the place is great. It’s replaced Meson Castelleano for our “steak place”

Loved the restaurant Lauras meat looked massive bet you had plenty to heat the next day we all like meat in different ways.laura looked lovely again as always loved the pudding look forward to the next video
Haven’t tried the bank we looked it at when we went to Tenerife but didn’t know if they did enough for me as I’m vegetarian

Prices weren't too bad but you couldn't afford to eat there every night x
Was Laura's steak not as good as expected as after it was cut up she was just moving it about and didn't eat any and was just eating the chips ?
She enjoyed it, she saved half of the steak for lunch today it was massive..along with bread and alot of sides we over ordered 👍🏽
I would love to visit the hotel it’s attached to priced it though and my eyes began to water 😂.

Very Different! Different atmosphere, decor, theme etc! The Bank alot more “classy”..Vegas more value for money..depends what you’re looking for! I woof the steaks in both 🤣
I'm with you Andrew 'cremated' is the only way I could eat any meat.Glad you both enjoyed your evening ...the meringue looked a bit, wet. When I make it, I like the meringue to be more fluffy? Congratulations on your new venture, I'm sure it will be a success...whatever you call it...I'm rooting for'Striders' though.

Great menu amd ambience but that food didn't visually look amazing, especially they dauphinours looked burnt.

For that price ...very expensive........That food is well and truly over cooked. And Andrews steak is horrendous... it's cremated....why not show us him eating it...? ...obviously he's sent it back.....
